Hi all! :)

Today I have decided to be lazy and do nothing today. I'm working on a new banner thing and will probably tinker with that today.

I'm contemplating going to see Shrek with the kids but I kind of want to hold off to go see POTC next week. Has anyone seen Shrek yet? If so, is it funny?

I wanted to go see Shrek yesterday, but we ran out of time and I don't know when we will have another chance. We are already planning to go see POTC on the 30th and it is not getting bumped for Shrek...no way!

@Jelly - No, I'm pretty sure you don't know her. I only think PS people will. ;)

@Aliena - I forgot to say congrats to your hubby on his new job. Moving too! I love the thought of moving...new place and all that, but I hate actually moving. lol

Where will you be moving to Aliena? Is it far?
I'd be excited about the prospect of a fresh start too, hope it all goes great for you and your hubby 8)

And thanks, guys! We're moving to the Austin area. It's about 4 hours from where we're at now, but much more centralized. Plus, there's much more to do there and hey! We might actually see snow this next year! Husband will get a pay increase and I'll live about half an hour from my high school best friend. I'm so excited!

And Jurupamae - man, I haven't been to a movie in the theatre in ages! In about 2 years, I believe.

Hey Nuzzles. :) Yep, I'm a Texan born and bred.

Purkle was a play on the word, "purple" and it was originally a group of people who met over on Neopets, but then they ended up on many different other sites. I wasn't an original purkle, but they are just so friendly, I butted in and they let me stay! ;) Nah, I don't think they'd turn anyone away! Now I'm purkling on other sites too.

*waves back* the names Nuzzles people give me many nicknames so I don't mind if you wanna call me Nuzz or Nuzzy or whatever

Nuzz sounds good to me! And I've not really done Neopets either. I think I might have tried it like 5 or 6 years ago.

And yeah! You're a Texan too! I'm one of those who couldn't fathom living anywhere else. lol

Haha yeah I like visiting other places, but iono moving away just feels weird. I remember moving to Arkansas for a while and omg it was terrible. I read you're moving to Austin. Haha that's not too far from me. Most of my friends moved over there for college and are always begging me to go visit them because they don't have a car to drive over here. I always tell them I don't feel like driving 45 minutes over there just to get lost in all the one ways they have xD; and gas is so freaking expensive now.

Oh, no kidding, though it's cheaper here than lots of places. We just hit $2.99, though I can still find it for $2.97.

I'm excited about Austin. That's one place I would never have thought I'd ever end up, but I certainly can't complain!

I can find gas for 2.99 at wal-mart, but the other gas stations are at 3.09 already. I heard it's supposed to drop by 20 cents soon though... hopefully.

Isn't Austin kind of expensive though?

Parts of it are, yes. Luckily, the suburb we'll be moving to is pretty comparable to where I live now. It might be a little more expensive, but not too too much. And my husband'll be getting a pay increase by taking this job, so it should balance it out in the end. Where my best friend lives, too, it's very reasonable. She'll be on the other side of town as me, but still close.

Oh I see. That's awesome ^^ What does your husband do for work?

He was a band director, but is now going to be a school counselor, of all things. Quite a change, but I think it'll be a good one!

I'm a stay-at-home mom right now. I have a little 1 1/2 year old girl. And then I do art commissions here and there on the side, but that's more fun money than anything serious. But by profession, I'm an audiologist/hearing specialist.

What about you? Are you in school or working or what? :)

@ aliena - coincidentally, my sister and her hubby are moving to the Austin area. Next time I visit her we'll have to have a purkle meet up ^_^

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Not too much going on here today. Went and saw Shrek the Third. It was cute but not nearly as good as the first two. Then again that seems to be the way of it these days.
