I support accounting software for small businesses so I talk to customers all day who are attempting to do the books themselves. She was just telling me about how much her accountant charges for things. I couldn't believe it. Very expensive.

accounting software? my mom does taxes for a little extra income and she charges very little.
well, if people dont complain or look around, people will charge what they can get away with. |
Hey everyone... my dad randomly bought me an "American Dad" DVD. Is it any good? I've never seen a single episode. xDD
I find family guy mostly funny, apart from the really gross/sexual/racist bits. >.< Peter can make you cringe. |
American Dad is about as good as Family Guy. except, it has more political humor. i think i explained it right. you would just have to see a few episodes.

And you're right. If people don't pay attention to what they are being charged, other not so nice people will take advantage if they think they can get away with it. We make tax software too but I don't support it. I'd probably get confused. |

@jurupamae-that's what's happening in hospitals. they will charge you for things twice or charge you for things and procedures you didnt have. that's why it's good to ask for an itemized(sp?) list of what you're paying. i dont have to worry about it though, until i'm 23 and the military doesnt pay for my health insurance. |

@Capsule: My dad had that happen. He had gone in for surgery and this doctor who accompanied another doctor and just basically stood there and did nothing tried to charge him. He called them and was like "There is no way I am paying you people for him just standing there taking notes."
