It is hard. But eventually you'll learn more about yourself and the qualities you like, and learn to be exactly the kind of person you want to be, and then you'll love yourself for who you are! The internet totally helped me become the kind of person I wanted to be, and now it's spread to my real life self! I gained confidence through places like this because I could express myself and not be as shy, and it helped me learn about the true me! Perhaps it can help you find the real you too!

I would do that but I don't have any cash on me...Plus...It's not the outside that needs help...It's the inside that does...I'm a mess inside...The stuff that I went through in these past years would make anybody let themselves get overweight.

No problem. There are times when we need to vent and cry and let others help us. I understand that past traumas take their toll and push your confidence down and you feel like a victim and it's hard to move on. But if you WANT to move on from it and turn over a new leaf, so to speak, that will let you leave all that past hurt behind and say "You know what? I'm stronger than that! I'm not going to let past things keep me from living NOW!"

I was stuck in a rut for about a decade due to a bad head-on collision that left me with chronic pain and diminished abilities, and I was so ANGRY, and I felt like a victim. And I saw other people who had been through accidents just as bad who got up and went on with their lives and didn't get bogged down by the anger and depression, and I realized it wasn't what had happened to me, but how I was choosing to deal with it that was the difference. I wasn't letting myself move on from it. Maybe I wasn't ready to at the time, but it sure does make a difference when you can pick yourself up from the past and head off in a new direction!

I don't remember if I did anything different when I turned 18. I do remember a year later helping one of my friends celebrate turning 18 by going to a casino. Now they've changed it to 21 here, but it used to be 18!

Same thing I do every night, eat dinner, only this one had cake. I haven't done anything special for my birthday since I was young. Most friends end up forgetting it's my birthday.
