Oh, that's so fun. I'm not getting married until after I graduate too, which isn't until 2010. My boyfriend aren't engaged but that's because we are both still young. We are serious though. I like weddings so much. :ish only girly when it comes to that >.<... well, maybe a couple of other things >.<:
Ooo, kittens! They are so cute. But I don't like them when they grow up. >.> Dogs on the other hand are awesome, but I want a guinea pig.
Congratulations on seven months of engagement.

Well, I like weddings. Whenever I get married, it will be small and minus anything religious. But, yeah, I know what you mean by there being too much religion involved (I think because I have thought that as well).

the problem for me... I'm pagan.. not exactly Wiccian, but close and my mom is christian nd my fiance's parents are catholic... so when it comes time to figure things out there is going to be a headache.. lol
We are planning on having a traditional celtic hand tying ceremony most likley on a beah and then like a bbq for the reception ^_^ wich means we can all be comfortable. Jared says there's no way he's wearing a tux.

That sounds so nice. I don't know what that is, but I'm certain it will be great.
I'm atheist, and so is my boyfriend. His family and my family are Christian.

So they had 2 ceremonies one in a muslim temple and the other was actualy down in Disney at Cinderella's castle... i couldn't go, i couldnt' get the time off of work. But i did go the the muslim ceremony that was really interesting, then we went out for tai food after

right. it's going to be hard when their daughter grows up, deciding what to teacher her, how to bring her up, which religion to teach her, or both... but Grace is only 3 so they still have time to figure it out.
When i have kids i know i'll bring them up with waht i beleive and not force them to be any religion they don't understand or want to be in. The good thing about being pagan is that we acept all religions and all their Holidays as important so we can celebrate with our families even though we don't belive in the same things.
but i'm not getting a tree, my cat would climb it and try to eat it...

I always wonder how children grow up in houses that have more than one religion or more than one language in the house. I know how a kid would grow up in my house. Not know about religion until he/she can make their own choice whether to be religious or not. >.> Well, I could wish for that.
And that is a cool thing about being pagan. Doesn't cause that much arguments.

Hmm i know mostly how kids grow up in an atheist and christian homes. Usally end up choosing themself what to belive. As for 2 languages..we have that alot of where i came from since we are in a bilingual teritory. Usally kids just learn both and mostly talk the one they like more. That has even some influence on what school they go to since we can choose between slovenian and italian one.

It's like that around here, kinda. We have alot of asian familys, so alot of kids know chinese, japanese, korean, tai, and such, but all the schools are english speaking so they have to learn english as well. It's really intresting, except when they are insulting you in a language you don't speak and you know they are saying something bad or making fun of you by the tone of their voices, and you couldn't do anything becasue you don't know exactly what they were saying.
My dad is an atheist and my mum is a protestn... that's christian but not catholic. She's and Episcopalian ... i don't know if i spelled that correctly. it was kinda cool because on home imprevement that's what they were. ^_^
When I was little my mom would make us get up every sunday, dress nice, go to church and sunday school and all that fun religious stuff. I didn't belive in it, but still she forced me to go. It wasn't untill i was in High School and had to work on weekends that she let me stop going.

Ooo. I wanna learn Japanese. Well, my mom always said it was my choice to go to church or not, but my grandmother made it seem like I didn't have a choice. So even when I finally decided I was atheist, I was still going to church. None of my family know that I am atheist. And it's going to stay that way.

I only learned Spanish. I had a hard time learning Spanish because I have a hard time learning different languages. Another reason why I probably wouldn't learn Japanese.

Yay languages.
I'd like to learn german.
English would have been harder for me if we had no cable tv.
If it weren't for tv I would be outside not sitting on the computer and writing in english. x'D
Damn you tv... DAMN YOUUUU.
I used to run out of the english classroom. Woot.
