Ugh, I wish Menewsha would quit dying! Now, I'm not the person that has to keep this site up and running, and I know it's a very taxing job, but I thought we were supposed to have moved to a better and faster server awhile ago.

Well, time to make myself go to bed if I don't want to fall asleep at work tomorrow.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'd rather it take a minute to load a page, as long as I know the page is going to load. Considering their downtime usually lasts HOURS, it would have been a good trade.

[sighs] Oh well. I can't offer them a better server and I can't donate so I don't have TOO much room to complain. I am a member that makes up the community, but that only goes so far. XD

Anywho, I was supposed to be asleep 40 minutes ago... I'm going to be so tired tomorrow. :(

Yes, Angel can DEFINITELY complain.

Although, ever since the downtime again this morning things have been different (I hope). When I went to log on earlier, the homepage said we'd finally moved servers, but the files just hand't been 'put into place' just yet.

Now that it's back up it's still running slow but so far no dying!

Woopi - I cannot imagine Mene on dialup o.O;; I've had it once in my life and I can NEVER go back.

Angel got a message about the successful instalation of forum software on a server.

That's the same message I received. I HOPE it means that the server move is almost done, or done completely. I'm not sure that it is though, because Menewsha is still functioning very slowly, and it was said the server we're moving to is much, much faster. [shrugs]

I do wish it mentioned on the homepage whether or not there was a new admin announcement. Nevermind, I realized that's exactly what the flash image is for. XD I'm just so used to seeing titles of threads instead of the spiffy new way of announcing something.

The only server move mentioned was on halloween.
I think we've gone back to the old one to be honest.

As am I, truly. For the past 12 days or so I've only been getting five hours of sleep a night and my body is rebelling. I actually fell asleep on my desk at work two days ago. It was so embarrassing. I just have a hard time making myself go to bed before Midnight, considering for the longest time I wasn't going to bed until 6 a.m.!

Howdy! How be you. does 6am class as night if you've not gone to bed yet? And if you work nights and have you're am and PM all confused?

*is in a constant state of confusion from working nights and not being good with numbers anyways*

Flink's confused because the only reason she knew the time, day, or even date was work. XD (Deadline was Tuesday so she knew how many days until Tuesday and therefore the date).

Now that she doesn't have a job she thinks everyday is Wednesday since she was never tired that day after work. <.<
