I won't allow myself to buy the Sims 2 for my Mac because I'd never get any studying done but I really wish I could.

Aww...everyone left! I never know if Mene is going to work for me because half the time I can't load the site to get on so I always like to chat it up when I can get on. I don't know why I have such a problem with it, it's the only website I have problem with. I try loading it in Safari and in Firefox and it always says "server cannot find website". Sometimes it just suddenly works or suddenly doesnt work. What the heck?

i've only got the base game, but people have said that it can run better if you have an expansion pack or 2! i like the idea of Open for Business, so many lovely things to sell!

i'm still trying to build up my downloads collection at the moment :roll: i had nearly 4KB worth of custom content at one point, the game used to take 20 minutes to load up :x
so i ditched the lot, because a lot of it was horrible anyway! now i'm gradually building it up again, after hunting the net to find the favourite items that i had previously, got most of them back too :D
this time i'm being far more paticular, and only downloading items that i want from a room set for example, even if i have to individually delete the files that i don't want.

i'm still ending up with items that aren't visible in the game though, so i need to go through everything and throw out what isn't working :roll: all this housekeeping will be worth it in the end though :D

mmmm lets see it all depends on what you have where did you download it from and do you have enough space? all extentions together occupy like 7g o.o
hehe and also require a pretty cool proscesor (sp) to make them tun.
I have a dvd with all of them and a very good software to install them with the cracks and codes and everything in one dvd, pretty pretty easy and well done, if you want I can ask my hubby where did he got it from for you

i don't have any extentions, only the base game.

i usually download my custom content from a few sites that i've used before.

LOL well remmeber it is not only the space but the processor.
www.torrentz.com you will need the bitorrent you can google it and dowload it, once you get it look for the sims2 (all expansion sets in one) try it but be careful cause sometimes you can download something that is not what you wanted, always have a look at the size of the file.
