Neko - You can't really say auctioning as artificial inflation. Because the users wanting it are choosing to go that high just to outbid the person so they have a chance to get it.

I was talking about the AI and the auctions seperatly... sorry ^^;;;
I knew the auctions go up pretty fast but didn't think people would bid so hightly so soon.

And the AI I knew would be an issue, but I was gone two days I didn't expect it to sky rocket like that.

Trinity - Yeah it is... but again people's choices... not saying it's a good thing but not completely a bad thing.

Yeah, but now that there are people who are willing to pay that much and actually can no one else will even stand a chance. Especially the ones who make their gold mostly through posting, and can't really contribute.

the bad thing is that then sellers took into account the highest bid prices and do not go back to an initial descent price =(

contributing is all an issue, even if I were able to do it, i think i woul dnever spend a lot of money on them lets say i wouldnt buy more than 5 and that is because (gaia talking) i had to share with a best friend and hubby, there were only 2 for me ...but since in my country every item is like 8 $ due to currency devaluation it is horribly hard to donate i mean i really cannot spend 50 bucks on this ladies....

I contribute, when I can ideally I get two of each for me and two of each for my boyfriend (our funds are combined so it's not like it just my money). But that's only when I can afford it and the extra set is to loan among friends

It'd be about 6-7 dollars a set for me but I'd still donate when I finally can for more than a few sets. But that's just me.

Well people have been standing a chance but.. I don't know for how long... And why would they lower it to a decent price when they have a price for themselves that's a great way for them to become rich?

They won't as long as there are people to pay what they want.

How about because they're decent people and they want to fight inflation so that Mene doesn't become the next gaia?

As I said before they can do that but they do not realise that they are doing they place an empty place cause people will see it is gaia like and they wont like it...idk...I understand your position and theirs though see?
And about donating..of course I would love to do it more but I just cant allow myself to spend so much on an online thing even if it is so important in my life i enter everyday....

And there is also the phantom of ban for me ....I was unfairily banned at gaia and it was so much a crisis for me...i lost 4 million and so much time and feeling on it....lost my art my personality everything....and since then i think about donating twice cause It really affected me.....
