And yea, I had a good start of the day. I had to get up at 9:30 to hand in my report card, because it had to be signed by my mother and me.

And then we went to a jeweliers to get my friend a graduation present for when I go back to America in 10 days.

Then we went to Subway. I had the club. <3 It was so delicious.

And now I'm here.
I still have some things I need to take care of before I go to America, so I want to do that today.

I'm psyching myself up to getting my butt outside to buy a Father's day card, i need to do it before it starts pouring with rain again :roll:

It's the same way here on the other side of the North Sea.

Terrible weather, but every now and then it clears up. Then in a few hours it becomes worse.

And it just keeps doing the same thing.

The weather here supposed to be beautiful all day.
I managed to get my Father's Day card into the mail yesterday.
I should have sent it earlier, because I doubt it will make it to California by Sunday.
I don't have to be at work until 10am today, so I have some time to hang out with ya'all. ^.^

I was just thinking about why we talk more than chatspace. It's kinda died there, but I think it's because here, we all want to talk to each other. <3

Vanilla kept chatspace busy and she's gone...plus Deus hasn't signed on for over 2 weeks..

I don't have chatspace, but I don't think I've ever been anywhere that I've liked chatting with people as I much with you, my friends, here.
I don't recall chatting this way while on Zantarni.

@Tigs: I know how you feel. I never talked like this on Gaia. I never really had many actual conversations with people. Mostly it was and still is just bumping my exchange thread.

I've never felt so much part of a community as I do here.
When I go back to Gaia, which is not often, it seems to childish that you can just bump and spam there. Not to mention the "anything goes" mentality that is permitted with the posts there.

Today is Jonath Nell's Birthday.
I already gave him his gift and am trying to find the right card now, since I have to work today.

@ Random - I did chat like this on gaia, in one thread (Starveling Triton's Charity) that closed a couple of months ago. I was then cast out into the rest of Gaia and then realised how shit it was. xD

I really notice that too!
I visit my friend's charity and it's just full of people posting single emotes and i can't believe what i'm seeing! Just shows what an effect being on Mene has had on us!

And also explains why so many Gaians have difficulty adjusting when they first sign up here, especially some of the younger ones
