I only don't care much for Gaia anymore because it's changed so much since the old days back in early 04.
And I've become so used to having literate conversations here and on Zantarni, it just seems weird to go back to Gaia where people don't really want that for the most part.

Things used to be much much less expensive, but that was before the Guilds came out. I didn't even bother to go to the Gaia Ball this year.

this is what's turned me off from Gaia too.
I pop into my friend's charity and it's just pages of people bumping and i'm can't believe what i'm seeing because we don't have that here.
Then i realise how much i've moved on..
Or i follow a link into somewhere scary and it's full of STFU and GTFO and i'm really glad that i discovered Mene

When I found Zantarni, I began to appreciate the change, but the sense of community is stronger here and I've made much stronger bonds and with more people I think.

I've hung out in a lot of places on Gaia over the years.
The last couple of years, I posted almost entirely at the Exchange with the old exchangers. When I go back now, I see that they're all but gone too.
