MMMMM OH MY GOD GRAPES ARE SO GOOD!!!!
I'm totally buying grapes and strawberries and pineapple tomorrow. I ran out of my "good-for-you" food, so I had to have ramen for lunch. Good thing it's filling, and the calorie count in it isn't THAT bad..... Sammi, I am aiming for 2-3 as well, I ALSO want to look hot in a bikini this summer... I haven't worn a Bikini since I was 16.... I had a rad summer romance that year *sighs* lol. He thought I was purdy! |

i wouldn't want to subject any beach to my pasty flabby flesh anyway :x i have a huge tin of pineapple that i bought today, in juice not syrup! i adore fresh pineapple, but it's just not within my financial reach, one of the perils of trying to lose weight/eat healthier on a crappy wage :evil: but eating tinned fruit is way better than eating cookies! so i don't beat myself up about it. on Saturday the cheapy shop 3 doors down from me is closing :cry: they sell mainly frozen food( i buy ALL my veggies from there) and have amazing bargains on dairy produce and so on, so now i shall be forced to walk to Aldi to try and continue to save myself money, so maybe it's not all bad. Aldi is less than 10 minutes walk away, but it's just far enough for my fingers/arms to fell like they're going to fall off when i'm carrying 2 heavy shopping bags in each hand. but if i go to the supermarket just around the corner everything costs so much more :roll: *sigh* life's a trial isn't it? |

well i can't drive, so i have no choice but to carry my shopping home, even if i did have a car i like to think that i'd still walk, unless i had many bulky items to buy at once, it's no fun carrying bags loaded up with boxes of washing powder and so on, that attack your shins all the way home :cry:

I've actually talked to my dietician/nutritionst and I was told not have much dairy during this diet I'm going on. Because of my heart condition and epilepsy.

I was sick today and stayed home. Didn't really feel like excercising much but I didn't eat too much either. xD I may exercise a little later though. So, I weighed myself and lost...one pound. Woopie. :eyeroll: xD How sad. Well, this gives me a chance to fix what I was doing wrong and correct my mistakes. Oh wells. I'll try harder this week. ^^; |

Well, still no weigh in for Suki. The next time I go to wal-mart or something I'll ask my mom for the scale.
But I do think I've lost a little weight because it seems my stomach isn't quite a pudgy as it was before. ^^;; But I ate alright today...but my portions could have been smaller. Today, I had yogurt/ salad, chicken in a tortilla/ turkey sandwich, a little bit of cantaloupe, and a little bit of rice. I can't wait until the kitchen is done with so I can make some soups and other recipes. It's taking a lot longer than originally planned. Dx |

I'm so proud of you! Today I ate considerably better than I have the last couple of days, so I'm proud of that.... I've been working so much though that I haven't been able to get out and excersize.... tomorrow I have a day off though, so I wanna wake up early and kick ass on a workout, then get all my errands done... I'm getting a sexy hair cut tomorrow and I'm so excited! I'll fully post pics! |
Aww....thanks! And you work, so that's some sort of exercise. I sit on my butt too much...it gets sore. D< I would do crunches more, but it's so hard to keep my feet on the ground while doing them. I usually just put my feet under the outside edge of the couch just to help me keep them down....but I'm too lazy to walk down stairs and do them. Plus I don't wanna turn on the light right now and wake my parents. Kind of a bad excuse, considering I should have done them earlier. Oh well, it sounds like you're doing well with the diet. :3 I can't wit to see your hair! I really need mine cut....maybe I'll get mine done this weekend. Hopefully. |

I just thought you all would be interested in a list of Negative Calorie Foods.
Basically these are foods that take up the same amount or more calories to digest leaving you with basically taking in no calories or sometimes negative calories. Obviously you should be eating healthy and not just relying on these foods, but they're something you can eat and not feel so guilty about. These counts are raw though, if you like cook them, steam them what have you with sauces or butter you're taking in all the calories of whatever you cooked them in. Examples of meats: Clams, Cod, Oysters, Lobster, Flounder, Shrimp Fruits: Apples, Blackberries, Cherries, Peach, Grapefruit, Grapes, Honeydew, Kiwi, Lemons, Limes, Mangos, Papaya, Pear, Pinapple, Pomegranates, Plum, Strawberries, Watermelon Veggies: Asparagus, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Garlic, Lettuce, Leeks, Mushrooms, Okra, Onions, Peppers, Spinach, Tomatos, Turnips, Zucchini There's more out there, but I just kinda listed the most popular ones. |

i haven't lost anymore anyway, and i wont unless i start doing some form of exercise. today i stayed asleep until nearly lunchtime again! but then i didn't go to sleep until nearly 5AM. i ate a bowl of very healthy organic cereal for my 'breakfast' Nature's Path-Millet,rice and oatbran flakes, they're expensive! but i feel virtuous after eating them, even if i did have full fat milk on them! but the shop didn't have anything else! had a mug of tea with that, and have since had a small apple and a glass of mandarin and dragonfruit smoothie. now i'm hungry again, but it's over 3 hours since i had the cereal so i shall think about lunch now.. i shall cook some brown rice in a tin of chopped tomatoes, with a lot of garlic puree added, i shall add something that will gross most people out..liver and some frozen veggies, maybe peas and swetcorn because i can just throw them in without having to cook them seperately first. i concoct so strange combinations! but it is healthy... i may then spoil it all by piling a load of grated cheese on top 8) but i don't want to become calcium deficient :P |

well i am having a hard time with my diet my mom just isnt helping me one bit. I dont get food that i know the calories in it >.< and my mom keeps taking me to fast food. I just hope that i can get better but its not looking good.
