Hey guys, just wanted to pop in for a minute and give you all a round of applause.
I don't have a scale or anything, so I won't officially submit my diet plan but I am trying to eat better. Just reading the last couple of pages, and trying to eat well for only the last three days (xD), I have to say you guys are doing great! I hope you all meet your goals, and have some fun too.

Awww thanks CS!!
You should pop by the thread more often, becuse truth be told, I'm quite fond of ya! And I don't really hang out on the rest of Mene very much right now because I'm just soooooo busy!
But yeah, make sure you keep us updated on your progress too!!
JELLY OMG::::: when I was working tonight guess who came in to see me?
Yes. The boy. In all his uber-cute glory.
If he can still like me after seeing me in my hideous subway uniform... i think we may possibly have something here! haha.
Ok, who wants to see what this boy looks like? clicky
and clicky again yeah, so he's pretty drunk in that second one, but still oh so cute.
OH and heres one of us together on NYE... yes, I am the drunk idiot in THAT one... don't mind me..... i'm not the point of that one haha. annnnyways. lol. i think he likes meeeeeee................ *dances*
Anyways, I've been keeping up with the drinking of water.... 2 litres today! Not quite the 7 I drank the other day, but I think that might have been a little bit of overkill!
Today was good--- I didn't eat anything too shitty, and I didn't really snack out all that much, so I'm pretty proud!
Gonna keep it up tomorrow too!!

Aw, I like you too Sars!
;D
And I'll definitely try to stop by every once in awhile to say hi, check out how everyone is doing, and share my own ups and downs.
He IS cute, Sars.
*Dances with you.*
Cute boy likes Saaaaaars, teehee.
Do you guys exercise in addition to watching what you're eating? I'm using my pooch as my walking/running partner, which he seems to love, and I do some lunges, wallsits, and basic stretching during the day. Just wondering if you guys have any other relatively simple things I can do.
xP

well, I walk absolutley everywhere I ever need to go--- I walk to and from work everyday (which is only about 12 minutes each way) and then I'm on my feet allll the time at work, and if I have time (like on a day off or half day) I go for a walk before work.
I take 3lb free weights with me for added resistance and toning, and then in my room during nights I have a pilates ball that I use for toning and squats, and then I push myself to do more crunches than the night before.
I haven't done any crunches for like a week (because I was sick and didn't feel like it) and now, surprise surprise, i have my period.... so i feel icky. But last time I did them I did 200 in one sitting, so next sitting will likely be 250.
edit: and lol, yeah... he is cute.
And he's in a band. annnnd their music is pretty good.... check it?
annnnnnd I'm smitten? dag yo.

lol OH pizza binges!
Well I'm glad you've shed what you gained back, its always nice when that happens (I should know... haha)
I did really good today at work... I resisted!!
I at one point DID make a chicken souvlaki... but mostly out of boredom and when it came time to eat it... I just wasn't hungry.... so I threw it out. A terrible waste, I know.... but sheesh. I just wasn't into it!
Anyways, It's officially my birthday in 22 minutes! I'm super excited!
I'm going out for lunch with my best friend, and yes I do have to work, but not until like 5... so I have half of the day to enjoy the joys that come along with having a birthday!
I kind of want to eat a cupcake tomorrow, but I might settle for a nice serving of Gelato down town instead... theres a great Gelato shop down there... and if it's sunny it would be SO nice to sit at the inner harbour and eat it....
( This is a picture of where we go sit downtown when it's sunny--- sooo pretty! I love living in Victoria-- it's like a mini-London!!)

Wow everyone is doing so well on their diets this week! Yay for everyone xD
I've been bad.. I didn't go to my tae kwon do classes this week. I'm all tired and lazy for some reason. I think I should start going to bed earlier. T_T
Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say good job to everyone. I think I'm off to bed T_T
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARS!

Happy belated birthday, sars! Yesterday was my mum's birthday, too.
I hope a sexy man who finds you absolutely fabulous drops into your arms!
... oh, wait...
Anyway, I'm over the ex-boyfriend and using my anger to keep me inspired to exercise and keep my diet journal.
The breakup is such an excellent diet aid. x3
As I mentioned, yesterday was my mum's birthday... and of course, she wanted to go out to a big, calorie-intense dinner. Fortunately, I had to work and could duck out. I felt terrible for it, but all of the eggplant parmesan and the big piece of cake she brought back for me so kindly? I threw it away so I wouldn't be tempted.
Sorry, mum. D:

Two big things today, which is why I rewarded myself with McDonald's for the first time in months:
I got a perfect score on my world history state test, and I got an academic award tonight and I walked across the stage and DID NOT FALL! :D
I can't wait until tomorrow, because that's when all the state test pressure are off, and I can start really exercising again. :D I'm actually looking forward to it! Is that weird?

Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! I had an amazing day!
True, I had to work from 5pm-10:30pm, but guess who showed up at my work and asked to take me out later that night for birthday drinks?
and guess who kissed me and cuddled me all night long? hmmm? hmmmmmmm? lol. yup. it had a GREAT day haha. i am seeing him again tomorrow and I can hardly contain my excitment! haha. dayum he's cute. and my oh my does he ever have soft lips... mmmm.
Anyways I did really really well today and I'm proud of myself... gold star on the calendar today for sure! Being smitten is great for me, I think! haha.
Anyways Sammi! Congrats on winning an award! And CONGRATS on not falling! haha I'm always terrified of that myself!
Jelly- I did have some cake! When I went for lunch with my best friend, the waitress brought us a nice chunk of chocolate cake to share! We only at like 1/4 of it though--- it was soooo rich! but delish for sure!
I can't wait until my bday party on saturday--- i bought the hottest little get-up ever today! I'll post pics after the party--- maybe there'll even be a couple of me and the boy.... heheh.

So my diet has been pretty good the last couple days... but not because of any good reason.
My cat died, and since I lost him... I just haven't had much of an appetite.
I've been eating, but only because I know my body needs fuel.
I haven't been eating much and the thought of food is just.... blah. nothing tastes good, I don't crave anything....
I've never had this happen.
Usually when I'm sad, I seek food for comfort.
But now... I'm just not feeling up to it.
I haven't been sleeping much either really. I'm quite devastated.
The only things keeping me going right now are:
- My birthday bash tonight (so many awesome friends)
- finding out whats happening with Cutie McCutes
otherwise, I'd be in bed for a week crying my eyes out.
I'm trying to hold myself together as best as I can, and I'm doing an alright job... but I'm definetly putting on a happy face. Totally emo on the inside.
*sigh*
im gonna miss him.

Hahah that IS encouraging!
Well my birthday was super fun, and tons of people were there... I had to be a complete social butterfly last night. it was just what I needed.
Tonight McCutes and I are having a movie watching date, very low key and cuddly, so I'm kind of looking forward to that.
Still don't have much in the way of appetite. hopefully I'll get back to normal soon though.
I haven't weighed myself today, but I can tell theres been some change in the last couple days just from how my clothes are fitting, so that pretty good.
I'm gonna head upstairs soon and straighten my hair and do my makeup and such and I'll weigh myself then, but I'm not too worried about it right now haha.

Aww I'm sorry to hear about your cat sars. T_T
That's so sad.. I lost a cat a couple of years ago. It's really sad to lose a pet. *tries to comfort you*
That's awesome about your cute guy though! xDD
Ok here's my update:
The scale this morning read 211.8lbs. For a weeks loss of 3.6 lbs and a total loss of 19.2 lbs!! xDD
Woo hoo! *jumps for joy*
At this rate I'll have lost 10% of my body weight before I go on vacation in New York at the end of the month.. so I'm very happy about that. I'll reward myself with a hot new outfit I can wear while I'm strutting my stuff in Manhattan. Thanks for all your encouragement everyone! xD

Eroy! Congrats on your loss hunny!
And thanks for the condolances, I'm really feeling a lot better now.
I'm past the crying stage. I miss him alot, but he'll be in my heart forever, and he's at peace and thats all that matters.
So I spent the night at the boys house. Guess what (this is cute) last week I mentioned that my fav cereal as a kid was Cinnamin Toast Crunch... and yesterday he went and bought some so I would have some cereal at his house that I like haha. His fav is Golden Grahams, and he got some of those too, but he totally bought breakfast for me hehehehe. aw man, I am so smitten.
Soooo yeah, it's been a week and we've had like 4 sleepover dates and it's been just a really cute, fun, adorable week.
I'm not gonna count my chickens before they're hatched and say we're in a relationship, but I will definetly say we are seeing eachother... and hopefully over the next little while it'll blossom into something awesome hehee.
Its really doing a lot for me, mentally.
He's just sooo good looking, and really sweet, and honestly a lot of girls here are trying to get his attention, and he's kind of a catch... haha. i'm pretty pleased.... so its a big confidence boost that out of all these super fine girls, he choses to spend his time with me. That makes me feel hot and because of that I sub-consiously eat better and stuff. it's pretty great. :)
Anyways, my weight is holding steady this week at 139 so far. no loss, no gain. PLATEAU.
I'll see if I can beat that this week haha. I'm only working one of my 2 jobs this week, so I'll actually have time to excersize, so thats gonna help I think. I have 16 days until I visit my sister, and I'd like to lose another 4-5 pounds by then.... hopefully I can do it!

She will definetley notice a difference... I've been getting a lot of compliments this week actually, so I'm quite pleased *dances*
She's been losing weight too so I can't wait to see her.
I have to try not to gloat too hard though, she just had her heart broken by someone she felt very strongly about for like 5 years....

hahaha yeah i know. he's a darling.
can't wait to squeeze in some more time for him, but I'm soooo busy this week that I think its gonna have to wait! darnnnn! ah well.
Anyways, I hung out with some friends last night and we had a little bonfire at the beach and roasted marshmallows. One of my friends who I always playfight with tossed me into some bushes light heartedly.... but i fell on something and my side hurts.... i couldn't sleep good last night :( that has nothing to do with diets, but man, i am uncomfortable!!

I made sure I only roasted/ate two... cuz I could see myself spiralling out of control if I let myself haha.
So after I had roasted my two, I just kind of poked at the fire with my stick until it was all burned up.

I love fires, i have a fireplace in my living room but i can't use it, my landlord in his wisdom laid the carpet right into the grate, completely covering the hearth. Just to stop anyone from using it i think! what a mean man he is
I used to spend hours sat in front of the open fire in my Grandad's house, finding scraps of paper and little twigs out of the log basket and so on to poke intothe fire..maybe i'm a closet pyromaniac
I've only ever had toasted marshmallows once :( 25 years ago now!! We had a holiday inAmerica, stayed with my Mum's penpal in Indianapolis, and they took us out to a nearby wood for a weiny roast. That was a new experience for us! I think i can safely say that there isn't anywhere in the UK where you can go that has grills set up in beautiful woodland, they'd be too afraid of hooligans setting the place alight
It was my trip the America that introduced me to mini marshmallows in hot chocolate too 8)

I had no idea that those things were North American!
I would have thought that roasting marshmallows, and marshmallows in hot chocolate were standard in the english speaking world! Crazy!
I am so uninformed! haha.
