Woot! I made it to the gym today!!!!! We did the 30 minute circuit twice and the same weight we've been doing is starting to feel easy so I think we'll have to start adding some more weight on soon. :P
Next week I'll be on vacation and I'll have lots of opportunities to swim in the ocean so that will hopefully be a good workout too!!!!!! ^_^

spent the night again last night, but didn't cuddle as much as normal because it's july now and all of the sudden it decided to get hot outside..... ugh.
But he took me out to his favorite resturaunt for lunch today, so now we can say we've had our first official date, although we've been seeing eachother for about a month now haha.
still not to the girlfriend/boyfriend stage.... hopefully that'll happen within the next month or so.... lol. I'll keep you posted!
Happy late Canada day to all my fellow canadian dieters, and happy early 4th of July to my south of the border pals!

Aw, it's so sweet!!
I have some news :o after gaining 4lbs since leaving my job i'd been somewhat reluctant to step onto the scales, so i didn't weigh myself for 10 days, but when i did i found that i'd lost 6lbs!!
So i'm now down to 141, with a BMI of a giddy 22.8 :o
I'm frankly amazed! The scales said 141 on Wednesday, and when i got on them again today i was expecting them to tell me i'd gone back up to 143 or 145, but they still said 141 i hope they're not broken! lol
I'm 1 pound away from a particular goal which i have had for 3 or 4 years! but it's sort of pointless now
A few Christmases back i bought my sister some navel jewellery, this..

but with clear stones instead of blue, and i liked it so much that i bought one for myself too, but told myself that i had to get down to 140lb before i could wear it. So consequently it's sat in my jewellery box for the past 4 years!
But now it looks like i'm very close to being able to wear it!! Shame that in the meantime i have discovered that i'm allergic to surgical steel isn't it?
I've have my belly button pierced for maybe 6 years now, and it's never really healed fully, it gets gooey sometimes and bleeds if i catch it on my waistband, so i put my one piece of gold jewellery in and it's far healthier, i switch back to a steel bar and it gets manky again :|
*sigh*
So it can stay sat in jewellery box, it's got pretty used to it in there by now..

Aww Jelly! COngrats on almost reaching your goal!
I know what you mean about manky piercings... ugh.
My nose is still healing up and it gets kinda gooey a couple times a day... doesn't look very attractive!
I'm sure you could find some pretty cute belly rings in titanium if you checked out a couple places!
Sucks that it never healed properly... stupid holes.
It took my ears nearly 18 months to heal after I got them pierced.
Seriously hoping to have better luck with my nose haha.
I'm holding steady at 134-- No loss, no gain..... which is good because I haven't really been trying this week haha!

Sars my titanium bar seems to irritate the piercing too, plus it's ugly because of the grey metal :x
When i got my ears pierced years ago they said to only wear gold earrings, maybe there was some sense in that after all. just a shame that gold navel jewellery is expensive! I can get stainless steel or titanium bars for £3, gold ones are £30 :?

I've done both but the one I did this weekend was indoor. I totally killed my arms on the one kind of wall where you go up straight and then you have to come out upside down to get around it and then keep going up. I wasn't able to finish it but I was about a foot from the top. I know it sounds like I was a chicken to stop so close to the top but I seriously was about to pass out. I could feel it starting to wash over me and I wanted to get down before I passed out and just fell without warning because the person belaying me might not have been able to stop me (she was a little inexperienced).

its healing quite nicely... gone almost 2 weeks without any infections! huzzah!
Still holding steady on the diet front.
I am at work right now-- my home computer decided to explode into uselessness, so I dont have internet at home any more *sigh*
I was hungry at lunch and decided to eat some pizza... the first pizza to touch my mouth in over a month... now i remember why i dont eat pizza anymore... it makes me feel so sluggish... ew my tummy hurts!!! lol i kind of feel like i just gained 3 pounds.... hopefully it will go away soon.
NO MORE PIZZA FOR MEEE
I'm going to hike a mountain with my best friend tomorrow! huzzah!

OMG I haven't been here in so long. Sorry to abandon everyone D8 !!
Well my update.. is that I have no update. I've been holding steady at 210-213 for the past 3 weeks. At least I'm not gaining I suppose.. and I'm still around 20lbs lighter than I used to be.
I gave up my crazy ass diet b/c the insanity of it was killing me! So I've switched to cutting out all processed sugars.. I get my sugar from fruit, honey and maple now for the most part. I need to be a little more diligent about it though.. sometimes I put brown sugar in my oatmeal in the morning. I've also cut out all white or processed flours. Only 100% whole wheat for me. It's actually quite tasty once you get used to it.
But either way.. it's summer and I'm not being very good about dieting.. but I'm at least making an effort to not gain weight. I walk for at least a half hour every day and I take tae kwon do lessons 2 times a week. I need to do some resistance exercises a few times a week. It wouldn't take me anymore than 20 minutes 3 times a week.. but I'm f-in lazy and haven't gotten around to adding that to my routine.
Anyway.. I hope everyone else is doing well and having a fun and healthy summer (for those of you who are in the norther hemisphere anyway.. those of you in the lower I hope you're enjoying your winter). I'll try to stop by more often!

Eroy cutting out the processed stuff from your diet is the best way to improve your health anyway. It's certainly worked for me. Your digestion gets sluggish trying to process all that over refined stuff.
When you say oatmeal do you mean porridge? American English is confusing at times
If i make porridge i chop a banana into it before i cook it, and you don't need sugar, the banana melts down into the porridge as you stir it and makes it really tasty and naturally sweet :) that's a fabulously healthy breakfast. I have it for lunch sometimes if I'm in a hurry 8)
I haven't lost any more, i waver between 141 and 145, depending on the time of day and what i've eaten. If i EVER get off my butt and get a job i will hopefully lose a little more because i'll be active again instead of sitting on my backside all day

I have no idea what porridge looks like but in America oatmeal is thick and chunky (at times) and very thick to eat. Usually we add milk or some sugar to it because the milk thins it out and the sugar makes it taste sweeter and less like cardboard. We also have cream of wheat, which is exactly what it sounds like....it's very creamy to the point of being soupy and is white and has little grains in it like sand.

Got to say cream of wheat sounds a bit disgusting. I have to get porridge to the right consistency, if it's too thick i can't eat it, it sticks to the spoon! i like to cook frozen raspberries into it, they turn it pink and make it delicious 8)

Still not sure what porridge looks like XD I actually like cream of wheat better than oatmeal. You can almost just drink it down and it tastes better than oats. It doesn't sit like a brick in your stomach either. :P

I'm sure porridge is the same as oatmeal, if you combine oats and milkand heat them up until they're cooked then it is anyway 8)
