Does Vegetarianism count?

Hollywood 08-16-2007 10:26 PM

@ Jelly-- Ooooh Halloween! I BETTER have my computer fixed by then! hahaha.... or I'm going to miss out on WAY too much!
This weekend I am going to my parents house for 3 days, so I can get in some SERIOUS mene action over the next 3 days.... while my parents are at work and not expecting me to socialize.... haha.
on Saturday ny mom is taking me to the fair in her town to watch a hypnotist and see some live music. I told her I want some mini donuts... lol.

@ Eroy- I have gained about 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks because I got cocky and began pigging out. started eating pizza at work again too, so I'm trying to cut it out again... its harder to do than i thought! But I ALSO want to get back on the wagon... bec ause I BOUGHT a bikini.... (and I have actually worn it once...) but I dont quite look GOOD in it yet, and thats the goal! haha.
Also, I dont have a carni pin... if you are willing to part with it that would be amazing <3

jellysundae 08-17-2007 12:24 AM

Ah but...you'll lose it again easily, once you go back to not eating pizza  i'm being a bit of a cheese freak at the moment, maybe i'm calcium deficient?
but i seriously can't cram enough cheese down my throat right now..

Maybe i should try my bikini on again  i looked dreadful the last time i tried it, because my boobs had got too big for the top and my fat smooshed out around the sides of the bottoms..smexy!!

ZOMGWTFLOLROFLMAOBBQ 08-17-2007 04:24 AM

@Jelly: e_o" send pics. lol j/k. I wounder how i would look in a bikini... I'm too embarassed to go buy a bikini. I'm afraid the'll look at me funny. Then I'll see them in college. And i will for ever be know as bikini boy. 8'U OMG NIGHTMARES!!

Eroy 08-17-2007 05:11 AM

Sars ~ Ya I've been on a weight gain streak as well. It's TOO FUCKING HOT outside (excuse me). I just want to sit inside in the AC and do nothing. I used to walk a half hour every day at lunch but I just can't.. it's like 103F outside Dx
So ya.. I've been a couch potato not to mention I've been eating out a lot. I'm supposed to go to the lake this weekend but I fear my swimming suit! Oh well at least it's just the lake. xP
*check your trades* xDD

jelly ~ Lol. I know what you mean. I haven't had cheese in months and suddenly I have this huge urge to eat a block of cheese and drink a bottle of wine.

OMG I could never wear a bikini!! I wouldn't leave the house  rofl!

I haven't been cooking either.... eating out a LOT!!! bad bad bad... I should stop that! haha.

Jelly: My TOP fits (i bought it specifically because it fit my tatas without making me look like a sloooot.... lol) but my tummy is the smooshy part! haha. stupid tummy. Ah well... soon enough i will wear it without shame!

Going to the fair with my mom today.... its raining. oh joy. Still gonna cram some mini-donuts down my face though hahaha.

Eroy: thanks for the pin! <3

jellysundae 08-18-2007 10:36 PM

i hardly ever eat doughnuts now. i used to really like them, but i often find them really greasy now :(

Which is good really i suppose! but i hate it if i buy one to treat myself and i don't enjoy it T_T

Eroy 08-21-2007 03:57 PM

Ya I think my biggest problem lately is eating out.. I really need to stop that. I've just been really lazy lately. And really busy and stressed out.. that doesn't help either.

Gotta run!

Sars ~ No problem! I hope you enjoy it <3 xD

Eroy 08-24-2007 03:47 PM

  • So I've gained 5lbs in teh last month. Boo hiss :x
I need to get my ass in gear. My schedule is a bit out of wack for the next couple of weeks but after that I might join weight watchers or something... not sure. I think i need something that holds me accountable though.

jellysundae 08-24-2007 08:03 PM

Don't dispair Eroy, I gained 5 lb but I lost it again. I just so wish i could motivate myself to exercise!
I've not worked for 2 months now, and all I spend my days doing is sleeping and sitting on my backside on here

Hollywood 08-26-2007 05:38 AM

I'm the same way, Jelly! except for the computer part.
I haven't gone on a walk for like a month. because of that I am MAKING myself go one a super nice trek tomorrow. But I've been working a lot... sleeping a lot... lazing around reading books, and going to the bar A LOT!
I should probably cut back on my drinking.... been to the bar 4 times this week already! bad sars, bad bad sars! haha.

But on the plus side, McCutes and I are still going strong! 3 months next week! amazinggggggg. he's so cute

jellysundae 08-26-2007 01:17 PM

Sars if i walk any distance now my feet ache the next day, because i'm such a disgusting lazy bones now
No real idea why i'm on here now, as there's only about 20 people signed on and the place is dead! I don't think i need to be fearing a riot or anything

I have a ton of housework to do today, which I'm procrastinating about because it's something i detest doing! But maybe once i've checked out the staff room i will actually step away from the computer and do something productive

Eroy 08-26-2007 08:26 PM

  • Thanks Jelly xD
Ya I'm going to go to my tae know do class a lot from now on... and hopefully start up my daily walks as well. Now that it's getting cooler I think I can handle walking outside. rofl!

I need to stop eating junk! I went to a wedding last night so I had cake and lost of booze.. It was a lot of fun but I'm sure it wasn't good for my diet. Monday... monday I'm starting back up again. xP

jellysundae 08-26-2007 08:48 PM

But Eroy did you do any dancing at the wedding?

Eroy 08-27-2007 01:46 AM

  • No I didn't! D:
The reception was really boring actually. They pretty much just fed everyone and rushed them out. Then we went up to the couple's suite and drank a bit. So drinking and no dancing = bad for diet. rofl!! xDD

Hidari 08-27-2007 01:59 AM

Ooo, a diet thread. <3

My tale;

I recently lost some pounds, I went from being a size 16 to a size 12. I did it by walking a mile everyday, no exceptions, cutting back on snack foods and making substitutions in small things. I slimed down my arms by lifting weights and my stomach by doing situps and adding one situp to my workout each day. I ended the summer at 94 situps. @[email protected]

I weigh myself every week in the morning, and even though I've indulged here and there, I've still managed to keep my weight down to a healthier number. I use tv show box sets to keep me busy on the tredmill and my eyes off the numbers, I started with one DVD and now I have 5 boxsets. XDD

It's great to have some choice in what I wear and not just whatever I can get on. I don't think I'll ever let my weight creep up again, in fact I'm aiming to lose another 15 in the next couple of months. ;D

Eroy 08-28-2007 03:44 AM

  • Welcome Queen Fool! Sounds like some good goals you've got xD

Hidari ~ That sounds awesome! I wish I had a tred mill in my apartment. I'm starting to think it would be a good investment.. and maybe some weights because I hate going to the gym.

Starting up walking at lunch again this week. It's still freakin' hot outside though. *hopes it cools down this week*

jellysundae 08-28-2007 07:03 PM

I feel sorry for you people who have to contend with excessive heat when you're trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle :(
That must be really demoralising.

Queen i know where you're coming from with the BMI, mine is 23.something now, which is just right according to the chart, but i have hav a load of belly podge and i want to lose another 14lb or so.

Hidari you do seem to be well on track, well done and keep it up ^.^

Either a tredmill or an eliptical machine are the best machines I've ever used. I want my mom to get an eliptical, though, because apparently you burn twice the calories with less strain on your body.

The only problem is because it's at home there's so many reasons to make excuses not to be on it and some days I'm just like, struggling to meet that one measly mile. D:

jellysundae 08-28-2007 09:58 PM

I have a strider and a rowing machine and 2 gym balls and i never use any of them

I can understand why you wouldn't use the gym balls, but the striders and the rowing machines can be superb. Especially the rowing machine, in my opinion. :3

jellysundae 08-29-2007 01:15 AM

I like the gym balls though, i sit on them and bounce about and break into fits of giggles.
But I don't do any sensible exercise on them.
If my desk was the right height i'd sit on the biggest one when i'm online, as they're comfy and i could bounce and type, but the keyboard shelf is too high and i feel like a little kid at the dinner table when I try to type

Eroy 08-29-2007 01:42 PM

  • Well.. it's still like 100 deg outside (37-38C) so I haven't been walking during lunch. It's supposed to rain today though so hopefully that'll cool things off ^^

Hidari ~ Ya.. and eliptical would be good too. I lose on those things though.. I can work on them for about 20 min before I feel like I'm going to pass out! D:
I think they're more expensive too *ponders budget* I should really look into getting one though. Then I could get a workout while I watch my after work tv programs ^^

rofl rofl!! *imagines Jelly typing while on a gym ball* xDDD

jellysundae 08-29-2007 05:09 PM

lol, it's fun Eroy!
I'd seriously do it all the time if i could.
I've considered an eliptical trainer too, people say they do just about kill you, but 20 minutes on one would slowly build as you got more used to it..

but the cost is what always needs considering, plus where do you put it? My strider is big and heavy, I'd want it in the living room so I could play on it and watch tv maybe, but it's too heavy and awkward for me to keep lugging about on my own http://i19.tinypic.com/5zogiom.gif
and I don't want it sat in the middle of the floor all the time either.
