Hrmmmm..... Thanks *rolls eyes* LOL... When I was a child it was hard for me to envision someone who was an adult named Brittany... Now I know a lot of them to include myself and my best friend's twin sister... There are names that go the other way too though, like my friend has a daughter named Sophia who is a few months younger then Sean and the name just sounds... Odd on a baby... They call her Sophie and sissy... And I couldn't imagine a baby or even child named Sharon... But there are tons of people who carry that name and they had to come from somewhere LOL... I assume my name will be easier to grasp as a name for a 30, 40, 50+ woman as our generation grows older... Just a few years ago I could not imagine a 20 year old being called Brittany... Now I am 23 and those that don't call me Jaz or Jazzy or mom... Call me Brittany LOL

I'm back! And it actually took 15 hours to get there. And now I know that Nynaeve gets car sick. ~_~ She threw up all over herself 4 hours in. But yeah. Glad I'm here!

Car sick babies are no fun. </3 Gave my daughter grape juice before a car trip one time... never doing that again. It smelled bad, and she was crying from throwing up. ^^;;

I don't know if Sakura will like her name as she gets older. Most kids with 'odd' names go by nicknames in early school years, and as they become more comfortable with who they are go by their given name. I think she'll like it. >.> *shakes fist* she better!

Need to finish collecting the Tsubasa series, as Princess Sakura is in that one as well. >.> If she marries someone named Lee when she gets older...Imma laugh. a lot.

@ Jaz::
No offence. I meant I can't imagen a 75 year old named Brittany.
The name seems more directed to a younger crowd of women. :sweat:
You're 23, that's still "young crowd" to me. ^^

@ Melody::
It's a lovely name. ^^
I adore my name. To me it sounds sensible, plain, simple and pretty. But whenever it's used in a book/movie/TV series/ect., my name is always used for a popular/bratty/villan type girl. T.T To me, the name doesn't fit a villan, but it's always a bad guy, never a good guy.

Does that mean you're an Ashley, Amanda or Clarissa? xD I can't think of any other names used for the snotty teen crowd. Though I have known Brittney to be used a few times...and Amber. A names seem to be 'evil' for some reason. xD

Amber is the name of my fiancee's Ex..... She was a lying witch! The night they broke up was shortly after a camping trip. While my fiancee was in the tent alone..... She was off screwing her ex-boyfriend in the woods. She decided to get back together with her ex and her reason for telling everyone that she was done with my fiancee? She claimed that he tried to rape her! Everyone knew that it was a lie.... Amber always was an attention seeking drama llama.... But yeah, to break up with someone by trying to ruin his reputation?! WTF?!

He dated a girl named Amanda who was one emo sob story after another. He spent all his time taking care of her and she dumped him for her abusive ex.

He ALSO dated a girl named Brittany who felt nothing for him. She just wanted to have a boyfriend for the sake of having a boyfriend. Which ended just wonderfully.... Yeah.... She screwed his brother on his bed and he walked in on them.

Nope, you won't believe it when I say it... or maybe you will. T.T
Heather is my name. If you pay attention, you'll find that Heather isn't ever used for a good, nice girl character.

Hikari- o.o ouch. Sounds like your fiancee went through a lot before he found his princess. xD

Clair- I've known a few heathers and they're always nice. xD I've also known good Ambers, Britneys and probably Ashleys too...but I can't remember anyone named Ashley at the moment. lol.

Before Scott and I got togehter he was dating this chick named Katie... She was a bitch. >.> and kept talking about how hot random other guys were when he wasn't around. I'd say she was cheating on him, but she was no real catch herself...so he really only went out with her because he has a hard time saying no to people. xD She asked him out. Then broke up with him becuase I was always around him. Apparently she thought he was cheating on her. >.> Which if I had my way they never would have been together in the first place!

Hm, that's nice to hear.
I've yet to meet another Heather who was nice... or maybe I'm just a jerk. O.o//

Scott is my younger brother's name. :3
I have a bunch of younger siblings. Scott is not related to me by blood, but God, I love him as if he were my brother. He's 16. My only full-blooded living sibling is 13, her name is Anna. My mother lost a baby while she and my father were married, they weren't ever sure of the gender of the baby: I consider it to be a baby boy named Andrew, but my dad thinks of it as another baby girl named Emma. My dad remarried a few years ago, and since then they've had two children. They lost the first one, a baby boy named Jacob, and they had a daughter last October, Chloe. ^^//

...uh, random. .__.

HikariKuro... WOW... Just WOW... My husband has only ever dated one other girl... Her name was Annie... I can honestly say she is a bitch... LOL... She secretly stopped takine her birth control pills TRYING to get herself pregnant after her best friend got pregnant so she could be like her because "she had it all" She cheated on my hubby while he was up at college a few hundred mile away... Called him on April Fools day and broke up with him after being WITH the other guy a couple weeks and after sleeping with him >.>* She's a not so nice gal... The first day I met her she asked Dillon's good friend (whom she worked with at the time) if my 5 year old (then 2) was his >.> we had been dating a grand total of one week at that point... Fun stuff fun stuff

But I can relate to your fiancee! I've got quite a list of losers... Only two are worth speaking to... And one I am forced to speak to even though he is the worst out of the bunch >_>

I have a cousin named Heather she is a sweety but poor thing she is always in the shadow of her younger, prettier, smarter, more successful etc etc etc sister Kristin... I wouldn't personally blame her for being evil LOL!!! Other then that I don't know to many Heather's worked with one when I worked at Target a couple years ago... She seemed nice... But her best friend was a bitch..! And my trainer >.>

I have lots of siblings! My twin brother was named Brandon but he passed away in utero...Bryan (almost 19) Jeaun Anthony AKA JA (my adopted brother 18) Breanna (17) Brendon (13)... My mom has had a lot of miscarriages due to a recessive genetic disorder she and all of my biological siblings carry and my twin died from... She could not even quote how many children she has lost if I ask her...

...Jaz, sounds like me. T.T
I'm always in the shadow of my much prettier, better in school, blond hair, blue eyed sister, Anna. T.T

I've met few other Heathers, and all seemed sorta mean and full of themselves. T.T

[/was the prettier, smarter, successful etcetcetc sister that everyone compared my younger sister to] ^^;; (but for the record my entire family had blond hair and blue eyes, so I didn't have that ahead of them)

Now my sister, to get back at the world, and I guess me? has started getting sugar daddies and sleeping with ugly old men, joined the army and thinks she's tough shit. Even started smoking. ewwww. Which just makes me look even better imo. >.> I guess I should thank her? lolz.

I have 3 siblings, two older brothers Lawrence (25), Edward (24) and my little sister Carolyn (20), as far as I know my mom never had a miscarriage. We're a pretty healthy bunch of baby makers. >.>

*nods* My mother only ever had one, so I hope I don't have any.

My family has darker features, my sister's blond hair and blue eyes, though not impossible to have, still makes people gaze in wonder. She looks a lot like our mom, but with lighter features. My father has black hair and eyes so dark they look black. My mother has a natural burgandy-ish red-brown color hair and beautiful olive green eyes. So, together, I came out with mousey features. >< Nothing stunning about me.
Although both my parents claim that when I was born I had a full head of stunning ebony black curls. *sighs* Wish I still did. T.T

Though, there is someone in my life who begs to differ. :3

I think if I have one it will only be the result of the Surrogacy. It seems rather common amongst surrogates... But since my couple will be using an egg donor the chances are very slim for that to happen.

In my family as we get older our hair darkens from blond to brown. So my hair isn't nearly as pretty as it was...but meh. I still think I'm pretty. lolz. I think that's really all that mattes. So long as you think you're pretty/worth it, other people will as well.

That's nice, Melody. It's good to think you're pretty. ^^
I honestly don't find myself attractive or pretty at all.
But that could be just confidence issues talking. *sighs*

Are you close with the couple you'll be carrying for? ^^ <- Not sure if I asked that correctly. >.>

Surrugacy and donating. It's always been an interesting topic to me, actually. I find it facisnating that man kind has now developed this system for parents. ^^

I've become really good friends with my couple. We talk at least once a week, I think they'll be visiting us down here after the transfer (tentatively in December) so that should be fun too. I'll probably invive them down for the Potato festival that happens here in the spring since I'll be pregnant then. xD I dunno, we met last May and just got along really well. (:

Hey now, none of that lack of confidence stuff around me. I forbid it! I actually did my final speech on that very issue. Damn you media! You're screwing with peoples heads! D:

Hey Melody, are step parents welcomed too? I don't have any kids of my own but I have a 7 year old step son and a 10 year old step daughter. Unfortunately, we only get to see them every other weekend during the school year but I do babysit them a lot during the summer as their dad has to work goofy shifts.

Maybe one day I'll have one of my own, but right now isn't the best timing for any of us, unfortunately...

Hey, Izumi. ^^//

It seems awkward to me that I'm so much older than my younger sister.
Almost 17 years older. x_x
I'm old enough to be my sister's mother.
That's a weird reality, huh?

Yah I look at step parenting as getting to live all the great parts of being a parent, yet still maintaining your own life. I would love to have them move in with us and be a family, but unfortunately their mother would not have any of it. In fact, I'm not allowed to speak to them while they're at their mom's house. Ah well, hopefully I'm having a positive influence on them and they'll turn out to be happy and successful adults. :)
