@Aryah; Kind of. I live in Los Angeles and there was an earthquake over in Chino Hills at around 11:42. I was freaked, it was exciting but I was freaked.

yeah, I don't blame you. I hate being anywhere near natural disasters like that... no matter how small they say they are! *has almost been caught in a tornado and a hurricane*

@Aryah; People are saying that it wasn't that bad, but I haven't felt an earthquake in a while so it felt bad. The news is saying around 5.4 magnitude, so it was a good size. I've never been caught in a tornado or hurricane.

Yeah, I'd probably lose my damn mind in an earthquake... Tornado, get as low as you can, like basement. That's easy... Hurricane's usually give a lot of warning, so you can get the hell out of the area. Earthquakes.... not so much. I'd probably just be trying to find somewhere to hide, and not come out for quite a while. what's the highest number on the scale for earthquakes? |

Earthquakes you usually duck under a table and hold on for dear life. They say that you can stand in a doorway but that's not good because the door could swing and hit you, though it's better than nothing. I stood in a doorway because I couldn't get under the table. Well, at least it's over now, and you're ok. So, aside from the earthquakes, do you like Los Angeles? that scale is insane! 0.< -edit- my brother in law lives in L.A. and he's saying it was a 5.8? but he can't make up his mind. :lol: |

Yup, I'm good - still freaked. I just felt a couple of aftershocks. I love Los Angeles, it's very nice here - aside from the quakes. :) It is. edit - They re-updated the magnitude to 5.4 just recently. :) |

I've only ever seen los angeles from the not quite comfort of our truck... I'd like to be able to see some more tourist-y sights... like Disney, and the beaches, and things like that... |
Nope, nothing knocked over or broken.
You should come to LA and see those things. It's nice to go to those places, the beaches are really nice - especially Santa Monica and the pier. :) I have to get going. Bye for now. |
