Haha, hey Dimitri. :D
Haven't talked to you in a while, mainly cause college sucked up my free time and most of my life. X_X This past week was my first week on the job. I just came home for the weekend, but I have to make my way back up there tomorrow afternoon. D: I'm not too happy about that. How have you been? |
Hello wendy... fancy meeting you here! XD
i haven't talked to anyone in here in a while because of my moving! I am trying to use gimpy to make my art but... i am so confused... DX Well I guess I just need tutorials. just need to find a way to get them ^^ |
@Dimitri: Heh, it is difficult to fit almost six feet of person under such a small and crowded sofa, however, the dust bunnies are friendly, and I bring them crumbs to eat, so they scoot over. I'm just magical that way, that's how! *nod* @Esmereina: Good evening! How are you? |
Esme: Wow, already in an accident in NY, eh? :shock:
I'm glad to hear that it was just a minor one :yes: NY is too much stress for my taste, though. You can have it :XP You like chocolate-dipped body parts, eh? ;) *pours melted chocolate on the floor and the chocolate* :rofl: There you go! Knock yourself out :XD @Wendy: Oh, you got a new job? What kind of job is it? How far away do you live from your home to the college and all? --EDIT-- @yosono: You're almost 6' tall? You're about the same height as me, then. Maybe even a little taller Ahh, I see. You bribe the dust bunnies ;) :lol: |
@Esme: Yeah, I can empathize with you on the moving situation! I had to move into my dorm a little over a week ago, and it's a new experience. I cried a lot. XD I don't like being away from home, but if I want to get a good education, it's imperative. How is NY treating you aside from the car accident? D: I'm sorry to hear you got in a wreck. T_T I've been in one before, and it scarred me, definitely.
And Gimp is VERY hard to use. I used to use Photoshop, but my old computer died and the program died with it. D: I got a Macbook recently, and the disc of Photoshop I have isn't compatible with it, so I'm sort of at a loss! @Dimi: I didn't get a job, nono. I just moved to college and I've been doing a lot of art since I'm an art major and have tons of studio classes. It sure seems like a chore at times! I live about an hour and thirty minutes from my home from my dorm, so it's not far, but still far enough to make me tired driving to and back. D: |
@Yosono: eh, as you can read(see)... i was in a car accident... but ill feel better tomorrow I hope.. atleast being here keep my mind off of it. ^^
@Dimi: NY is crazy..but my family lives here... its just the south part of the bronx is horrible.. and I should have never tried to attempt to drive down there.. I am a careful driver.. its these NY morons that screw it up for me.. sigh.. But I want your body parts dipped in the chocolate!!! It doesn't taste the same on the floor! XD lol @Wendy: Ahhh... completely understand! ^^ I really hope you are doing well there. **huggles** being in a car accident after a week of being in NYC is sort of telling me I should relocate upstate.. XD |
@Wendy: Only an hour and a half? And you get tired? :shock:
You'd die of exhaustion if you had my job and drove as much as I do, then ;) Just today, I drove about 9 hours straight and racked up about 5 miles shy of 500 miles without stopping :sweat: --EDIT-- @Esme: :shock: But...but...but... I rolled around in the chocolate, which means that I'm completely covered in chocolate! :yes: See? *turns full circle, showing off my chocolate-covered body* :XD |
@Dimitri:
Indeed indeed, give or take 3 inches. ^^ Sometimes a good thing, sometimes not so much. Hehehehehe, bribery works for the bunnies. @Esmereina: I did see/read, and I'm sorry to hear that. People drive so crazy...sometimes I think it's just luck that we drive around town without getting into trouble. Perhaps you should eat some chocolate, comfort food. I've never been in such a situation, but I find chocolate and spaghetti can help ease similar instances. ^^ |
@Yosono: Well, I'm about 5'10", so I'm about 2 inches short of 6 feet :yes:
Seems like I'm a bit short when compared to other males my age, but I don't mind *shrugs* |
@Dimitri: Arrgh, you're an inch taller. ^^ O_O Really? I seem to be taller than most of the gents around here. Or maybe I'm just making it up in my mind that I am. xD *mutters about physical differences across geographic regions* |
@Yosono: Meh, I dunno. Most of my male friends were about 6'2" or taller (I think the tallest friend that I had was about 6'6" tall)
You're still taller than most the females I knew, though. The females averaged about 5'2", give or take an inch. :yes: |
@Dimitri: Hmm, I'll have to pay more attention to heights and just see how tall the males around here are. I don't actually notice them too much. *preens* Hehe, I knoweth...but being a taller gal seems to intimidate people a bit...or something. But I'm quite proud of it! I think I should thank my grandfather for that one, he was something like 6'3", the ladies of my family are all very very short, I'm the freak. ^^ |
@Yosono: Meh, a tall girl doesn't intimidate me. It's got more to do with attitude than height, in my opinion
Even though I feel short, most of my male friends have told me that I tend to intimidate them with the way I stand, the way I carry myself, and the size of my arms. Of course, kicking the ever lovin' crap out of people that picked fights with me back in high school sure didn't hurt the intimidation any :XD Just out of curiosity, why don't you pay attention to the males around where you live? |
@Esme: Yeah, I would definitely move upstate. I'm not a big urban person, so the city would totally get on my nerves because of the horrible overpopulation of people. D:
@Dimitri: Good grief, what do you DO? Drive a tractor trailer truck? XD I would definitely die. Driving takes it out of me. I just get very sleepy when I'm sitting down for a while and it's not a good combination when you need to keep your eyes on the road. Makes the trip seem a lot longer than it really is. |
@ (pumpkin king) Dimitri:
-__- I lost my posting format. xD Hehe, well I'm tall with a bad attitude, so maybe THAT'S the problem. You're right though, I suppose personality and how one presents themselves is the important thing. xD Haha, at least you can hold your own eh? Huh, why? It's a mixture between them never sparing a word or notice in my direction and my newfound dislike for the gender, for various reasons. Not too sure why actually. It's nothing weird, I just seem to reflect people and I haven't met one soul in this place who was even remotely interesting to me, so I block everyone out. It's still a bit of a cowboy town here and I would rather discuss genetics and anthropology than cattle and Mexican food. xD It's a cruddy answer. |
@Wendy: *lmao* As a matter of fact, yes I do drive a tractor trailer truck :yes:
I tend to average about 450 - 500 miles a day, but on a really good day, I can get around 610 - 620 miles I could have gotten more miles today, but I got a bit of a late start and I was driving through a bunch of cities on US routes from Laredo TX to Fort Stockton TX. --EDIT-- @Yosono: Ahh, I see. No particular reason, I was just curious is all *shrugs* Cowboys aren't really the best guys to get affection from, though. At least from what I've heard, they're more interested in rodeos, guitars, and pickup trucks than women. |
@Dimitri: Wow, you must be older than I thought you were. You have to have a Class A license to drive those things. Doesn't it get nerve wracking on the interstates!? And where is your home if you're on the road all the time!? Do you just sleep in the truck sometimes? XD
Oh god, and I don't even want to think about the cost of that uber expensive diesel fuel for those huge tanks. X_X |
@Dimi: You are sweet!! Literally.. XD
@Yoso: Menewsha helps me a bit too.. ^^ @Wendy: you are right! I reall am thinking of getting a house upstate! :) I have to go guys.. im sorry.. but ill talk to you all tomorrow! same bat time.. same bat channel! **flies off into the sunset** |
@Esme: Well, good luck with that. I'm sure it will be less expensive than living in the city, too! Have a good night, talk to you soon! <3 *Waves*
|
@Dimitri:
Hehe, I wouldn't know...but they don't seem too friendly or open minded. Though, I myself can not resist horses, I adore them and I always get distracted. We have some on our road and there's four foals, it's impossible to talk to me going that way Hehe....so I understand that part and the ones who actually work, it's important and part of the history of the town. I just need to be somewhere more interesting I guess, get out of the dust. Sorry if the response doesn't make sense, I got distracted. |
@Wendy: Yeah, I'm sure I am older than you thought I was :sweat:
Considering the fact that one has to be at least 21 years old in order to get a class A CDL in the first place, and I've been trucking for about 2.5 years, that means that I'm at least 23. I'll let you use your imagination from there ;) @Esme: Aww, ok. G'night *hugs* Oops! I got chocolate on you :drool: @Yosono: :lol: It's ok. Say, weren't you the one that lives in AZ? *can't remember* :XP |
@Dimitri: Aww, you're no fun. I don't like playing guessing games! XD
But seriously though, you should be a role model for me. >_> I just recently got my Class C license from my permit that I've had since I was fifteen, and I turn nineteen in December, so that says something about how I'm not a big fan of driving. XD I hate merging most of all, but backing up is another dreaded action of mine. Especially merging on the interstate. . . DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING IT IS . . . to merge and watch out for you tractor trailers? >_> You guys have limited space and I'm afraid I'm going to be run over. I don't take the interstate if I can avoid it. |
@Dimitri:
Indeed I am. :drool: |
@Wendy: You're going for a class C? What are you planning on driving? If I remember correctly, a class C is good for dump trucks, cement mixers, and straight trucks (plus regular pickups and such)
*lol* Yes, I know how hard backing is. I do it at least once a day (usually more often) in a twenty foot long truck with a 53 foot long trailer ;) I'm pretty good at backing, though. Even if I do say so myself Meh, if I see a vehicle coming up an entrance ramp (regardless of whether it's another tractor trailer or a four-wheeler), I try to get over a lane to let them onto the interstate :yes: @Yosono: Ahh. Well, in that case, I'll probably be driving by somewhere near you tomorrow. I've got to cross AZ on I-10 into CA. I'll probably end up stopping somewhere in AZ for the night, though. I dunno, maybe Quartzsite. *shrugs* |
@Dimitri:
Quartzsite sounds so familiar. O_O Heh, well the weather is fine here if you like it in the 100's, shouldn't have any rain. ^^ The part of I-10 near me was closed today, or so I heard. Hopefully you'll go through the section that they didn't screw up. -__- |
