I found it funny the first time I came across a Spanish thread as a moderator.. they were speaking Spanish and I was able to understand and translate for the rest of the staff because they thought they were calling Josh (the original creator) stupid but rather one was calling themselves stupid. :rofl:

@Yosono: *LAUGHS* That sounds like a good enough reason for me. If you want to practice more, I can try to help you as much as I can. I do speak pretty informally.

@Kale: That's awesome to be able to understand it like that! My mum took Latin in school, so she can read much of French without even ever having learned it just because she has some knowledge of the mother language for those languages. I was sad that my university didn't offer Latin, it would have been so much more useful, but I suppose once I learn more Spanish I should be able to pick out words in some of those other languages that are similar too. That's good.

@Bani: Awesome. ^^ I'm just starting the class and so far I can handle it...I have another friend who helps too, it's nice to have practice people though.

I like to sing the alphabet in different languages. *laughs* I only know French and Spanish alphabet though. Oh, English too of course but that doesn't count.

@Bani: Heh, sometimes I don't even know the English alphabet. I don't know how I can learn another language when I have so much trouble with my own, xD I went into this silent phase a few years ago during a rough patch and ever since I got out of the habit of talking out loud I tend to have trouble. What a mess, I DO know the Spanish letters though! And the numbers up to 40 I think. Which is lame, but that's all I've ever needed. Hehe.
The Spanish alphabet is pretty sometimes, I should look up the French since that's also such a pretty language. I'd like to hear the Chinese and Japanese alphabet too. O_O
