Anway, have you had any more thoughts about the RP? @Morwyn: Yeah, someone suggested it to me, and it works pretty well in my opinion. Seratonin and Dopamine are different.... I think Seratonin is like a relaxer... :? not sure. But I have heard of them! |
Ok. Yeah, I've seen people mess up that rule on accident a lot, and with you being new I didn't know if you were used to the rules yet or not. They're a lot stricter here than on Gaia, but it keeps out the spam, which makes me oh so very happy.

Hehee, yush! They are pretty strict here... I was scared to death to post anything for like the first three days that I was here... I kept asking Dimitri about things, or making him ask Kale and TK! :shock: :sweat: Eventually I got over it though.

Run away fairies/fairies on a mission of some kind.. or some sort of shape shifters, sisters out to kill or only good shifters... or soemthing like that. |
*nods* It's not bad at all once you get used to it. I'm a weird one, though. One of the reasons I joined the site was because of the rules... I was sick of all of the spam on Gaia. Of course, the other reason I joined was for the awesome avis... <3

Aryah: The only item update that I can think of since the MAC was last updated was the thing with the shoes. That, and the huge monthly item isn't in there. I don't have any problems using the MAC... I love that you can sort by color now. It makes me so happy XD

@Kazz: Hmm, that sounds like a good start to me... it leaves it wide open for plot twists and the like.... just have to figure out some character bio's and some ideas for things to do.... like, maybe they only hunt bad people.... or, they really don't care as long as they're paid well.... or maybe both, one idea for each. :squee: -EDIT- Do you have Java? If not, you'll need to download it... and if you follow the instruction on extracting it right, all you have to do is make sure you open it using Java... I know it doesn't work right for me unless I tell it to use Java. :roll: |

Kazz: Have you unzipped the folder? I mean, what exactly problems are you having with it? I've read a lot of the MAC thread, so I know about a lot of the problems that people have with it and maybe I can help?
As far as figuring out what store they come from and such, I usually create the avi and then search back through in the sort by store option to see what stores they come from. I know that's a bit of a pain, but it's not too bad. Also, if you go to file>item info, it'll tell you what all the items you have equipped are called, and how much they cost. The prices for the EIs and CIs might not be accurate, but the ones for the in-store items should be. |
@Kazz: In which case, should they be partners or competitors? Either way it could be interesting... As partners they would obviously have a source for an almost perpetual argument, maybe even making them competitive.
And, as individuals, they could be competitive over certain contracts, or who's the better killer.... @Morwyn: Well, I was talking more about the item names than there specific stores. And, as for my issue, it has to do with seeing something in the stores and wondering what it would look like on... but, in order to find out I have to go to the MAC and look through the items hoping I found the right one... then, like you said, the only way to know is to select the 'item info'... it can be pretty tedious that way. |
I can understand that, I suppose. The thumbnails in the stores should be identical to the ones in the MAC, though. And it'll probably just get harder and harder to find them the more items that we get. At least if you know it's in a particular store you can sort by store. *shrug* I dunno... I :heart: the MAC so much XD Maybe I'm a little biased or something...

Kazz: What exactly did you do after you downloaded it? I only have found one other person who had that problem, and they somehow managed to fix it themselves, so that gives me no answer >.<
What you should do is download it. Unzip the folder. Go into the new folder. Double click on the .jar file. Do not rearrange anything within the folders, and do not unzip the .jar file. Make sure that your java is updated. Um... other than that, I'm not quite sure. *shrugs* I've only ever had a problem with it working once, and that's because my computer was being stupid and wouldn't download it for some reason. EDIT: Aryah: Ooh, male charas can be fun to rp sometimes. I still find it easier to rp as females, but I can do a decent male if I'm basing them off of someone, either real or fictional, so that I have a good idea in my head how they should act. |

I've never played a very flirty character, I don't think. It's a miracle any of my girls ever end up with guys, to be honest. It usually only happens if they somehow get stuck together for a long time. But that's ok with me for the most part since I don't like playing "love at first sight." It just gets a little frustrating when I think a certain guy character would make a wonderful couple with my girl character, but since she doesn't flirt much, some other girl character comes along and snags him for her own... Doesn't happen often, but it does happen occasionally. |

@Kazz: Okay, then I think I'll go with the guy then...or try to. did you have a preference for your character? The "money" lover, or the "bad-guy killer"?
@Morwyn: That's probably the one huge difference between me and my characters... I usually have no trouble getting my characters to act all flirty or bold... which is not like the real me at all. |
