Dimitri: Have you never been in a fan-based rp before? It's not that complicated. Maybe I should try explaining without examples? Characters from the original storyline (movie, anime, book, whatever) are called cannon characters. New characters that you make up and insert into the story for fun are called original characters (OCs). It's really not that complicated, and it's fun when you start making up OC girlfriends/boyfriends for cannon characters XD
