Kazzlise 10-11-2008 03:23 AM

Oh yes, but quite a while afterwards.. ;o;

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 03:25 AM

Quite a while afterwards? Ugh! :XP Did you at least get to sleep in today?

rampartte 10-11-2008 03:27 AM

*rolls around more* My shoulder hurts >_< Rawr!

Kazzlise 10-11-2008 03:28 AM

I got p at 8.. so.. like.. yeah. XD Not really.

Why does shoulder hurt?

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 03:28 AM

@Miki: Probably from all that rolling and flailing that you do :P
*gives you a back rub*

--EDIT--

@Kazz: At 8am? Cripes, I slept in until 0900... :ninja: (that's late for me  )

Morwyn 10-11-2008 03:49 AM

Hn... and I managed to disappear for awhile yet again. Oh well, I am back now.

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 03:50 AM

@Morwyn: Welcome back  Get distracted by a good show?

@Miki: There's another post for you in Roommates :P

Morwyn 10-11-2008 03:53 AM

Dimitri: Actually... no. The channels don't come in well here, so I don't watch TV hardly at all anymore. It's a big change from when we used to always have the TV on. I actually had to get off the computer because my sister-in-law wanted it back, and that's only fair, it is her computer after all. My computer is in the same shape as yours... only much worse, I think. Then again, it is a little over four years old, which is good for a laptop I guess.

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 03:56 AM

@Morwyn: Ahh, I see. Well, it's nice of her to let you use her laptop
A 4-year-old laptop? Hell, that's a good life for a desktop from what I hear (even though my desktop is about 6 years old now, and still running strong, even if it is slowing down some  )

rampartte 10-11-2008 04:01 AM

*gets back up from her flails on the floor* oooo... back massage... ^_^

Actually it hurts because someone talked me into getting a flu shot today... which is why I think I feel ever worse. >_< They did it right in my shoulder too, not lower on my arm like usual. Rawr!

*sits on Dimi's head* I posted to roommates btw. ^_^

Hi hi Morwyn! ^_^ Glad you're back at least.

*prepares chewy like food for Kazzy to keep her chompers busy*

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:07 AM

Blarg! I don't even bother with the flu shots because of a few reasons. First, the shots hurt like hell for quite a while where you get the shot. Second, people usually end up getting sick from the shots. And third, the shots are always outdated. All flu shots are made using the flu strain from the previous year, which usually doesn't do any good for the current year because the flu has already evolved from the previous year. >.<;

*Pokes at teh Miki sitting on my head* I know you did, and I already replied to your post :P (unless your newest post just hasn't shown up yet :ninja: )

Morwyn 10-11-2008 04:12 AM

Miki: yep... I'm liking your new look <3

Dimitri: Hers is actually a desktop. My poor 4-year-old laptop acts like it is possessed or something, I swear. It runs super slow, I can't even run more than one program at a time most of the time anymore. Hn... Someday when I eventually have the money for a new one, I'm seriously going to smash that one for all the headaches it gives me... and it'll be fun!

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:22 AM

@Morwyn:  Well, as long as you have a new laptop when you smash up the old one, it's all good
By the way, just out of curiosity, when was the last time you defragged your laptop?

Morwyn 10-11-2008 04:23 AM

Dimitri: Hm... only a couple of months, I think.

Rusalka 10-11-2008 04:24 AM

Hey everyone!

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:26 AM

@Morwyn: And, the last time you had your desktop turned on, did you check to see how many processes it was running at the time (using the task manager)? I'm assuming that you're using a PC and not a Mac, by the way.

--EDIT--

@Kale: Heya, love! *tacklehumpgasm* Did you just get home from work?

Morwyn 10-11-2008 04:28 AM

Dimitri: Oh, yeah, it's a PC, and I try not to turn it on often. What should I be looking for as far as processes go, do you know?

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:34 AM

@Morwyn: Well, I know that a desktop running at optimum performance only has about 32 - 35 running processes at a time, but a laptop usually has more processes than that. I'm not sure of the exact number that is normal for a laptop, but mine currently has 58 running processes. That's including running the program for my air card, running firefox and having 3 windows open currently. That might be a little high for processes, but I don't think it's too high. As for the names of the processes that should be running, I can't really help you with that  I honestly don't know the names of all the processes that should be running. I guess it also depends on what brand of laptop you have, also. It may differ from one brand to another. My laptop is a Toshiba.

Rusalka 10-11-2008 04:35 AM

Dimi; Nah.. was supposed to work a day shift but I woke up feeling like crap again... who said sleep is supposed to help sickness? It only got worse with each night I slept. ><

I was out playing bingo.. lame I know.. but I won $32 xD

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:37 AM

@Kale: I know how you feel. I've got a head cold or a sinus infection or something like that. My head is killing me and my nose is all stuffed up and junk :XP

w00t for winning teh moniez! :boogie:

rampartte 10-11-2008 04:42 AM

@Kale: >_> No i did not run away to post to you because I saw you come in.... >_> <_< >_> Posted by the way!

@Dimi: I posted to you too... for real this time. XD And I can't help it. I get suckered into getting one each year outta guilt from teh mommy.

@Morwyn: Belated thankies! I was trying for something for halloween. XD

Rusalka 10-11-2008 04:54 AM

Dimi; -nods- I've had the stomach flu for the past few days. >.< I feel better by the evening but in the morning I feel worse than the morning before that.

Miki; Sure.. isn't that what you always say. :sarcasm:

 Just kidding. How are you?

Dimitri Bloodbane 10-11-2008 04:56 AM

@Miki: Posted back :lol:
Yeah, my ex-in-laws always tried to talk my ex-wife and me into getting the flu shots every year. My ex-wife would always go get the shot, but I never would. She always ended up getting sick from the shot, and she was sick more often every winter than I was. Funny how that works, isn't it? :P

--EDIT--

@Kale: Wow, that's weird... I mean, to be feeling decent by the time you crawl into bed, only to feel miserable again the next morning O.o;; Do you stay warm at night when you sleep?

rampartte 10-11-2008 04:56 AM

@Kale: Well I got needled in the arm with the flu and it's sore and now my computer is starting to run as slow as my brain. I swear it took over a minute to reload the screen. >____< Overall a bleh so so day.

@Dimi: Bleeeeeh. I don't think I get bad sick a lot, but I get the mild sickies a lot, so it's probably good to boost my immune system every now and then, even if it won't block against all forms of teh flu.

Morwyn 10-11-2008 05:03 AM

Miki: I see... well, I'd say that works for Halloween... it's much less colorful than what you had before, I was kind of shocked by the difference.

Dimitri: It's ok, thanks for the help anyways :) ...wait... you have a Toshiba too? Mine's an old Satellite from four years back.
