Sometimes, and I know this sounds strange, but sometimes jobs don't hire people with college degrees because they think they're over-qualified, anyways. They think that something better is bound to come along for you and so they don't hire you because they think that the minute something better comes along you'll just up and leave. They don't think that you wouldn't be applying if you didn't desperately need the job and couldn't find that better one. >.< That's happened to a friend of mine a couple of times now, and he's frustrated with it all.

Yea my aunt in law is having the over qualified problem. for some gay reason the town out here are firing the teachers that have been there for 20 years or more. They are replacing them with younger prettier ones right out of school. She has been a teacher for over 30 years and everyone is saying she is to over qualified. That or she will not be able to keep control of her students because of her age. Basically that is what they are saying but not straight forward for fear of a lawsuit.

That is ridiculous, though. I know in most US states there are tenure laws and stuff like that that you can't fire a teacher that has tenure unless it is for a very good reason and you have to go through all this huge process to prove that it's a good reason.

I'm not bad. We went out to eat for lunch, and that was good. My husband knows one thing that he's getting for Christmas and he keeps wanting it early >.<

Yeah, Christmas. Since his parents are in the country, they got him a video game today for Christmas, and he knows that they did, but they told him he's not allowed to play it until Christmas because it is a Christmas present... He keeps bringing up how much he wants to play it, though >.<

The game is the new Animal Crossing for Wii. And, yes, I got him involved in the RP chat. I figured that was probably the easiest thing to get him into, and he's been having fun and they seem to like him pretty well too, so it's good <3 Today I even had a 30 minute or so talk with him about various characters in the RP and different things that were going on, explaining it all a bit better to him. It's going so well! It makes me happy <3

Actually, all of my forum rps have now died, which makes me so very sad, so all I've got at the moment is the RP chat and I've joined the RP that Broken is starting. It hasn't started quite yet, but I'm looking forward to it. So... 2? I know, shocking O.o;;
