I mean, I like anime and all, but I think people who do that are just nuts...

I once saw a banner in someone's signature that I thought was amazing. It said "Every time a non-japanese speaker uses a japanese adjective, God kills a neko girl."

Well I occasionally use French words in conversation, or German, just casually XD. I just like the languages.

I tend to use Spanglish a lot.

I'm not a big fan of the Spanish language. I don't know why; it just doesn't appeal to me. And I'm not into languages for practical reasons.

But I take Spanish in school.
A bit too late for me to switch.

I took French in school, and a little bit of German.

I'm actually a French teacher, or at least I would be if I had a job... :sweat: That's what I went to college for. I just find it odd to use just one word here or there just to sound cool, or for whatever reason it is that people do it.

lol, you're fine XD I don't mean to sound like I'm hating on all those people who do it, I just don't see the point of it and find it slightly annoying. To tell the truth, it took me a few months before I picked up on what "kawaii" meant :sweat:

^^ I actually find it quite annoying as well and actually am Japanese and I moved into a small town where every other person seems to use random Japanese words.

Yeah I mean I can see how it's annoying XD. I'm just saying it isn't quite the same as what the subject of the paper is. I mean actually using a language isn't exactly marginalizing the population whose language it is XD.

And again... I use random French and German words in conversation XD. I don't think that's really "claiming".

Some people it really doesn't bug me it's just the people who think they are Japanese and there's just a certain thing they all do that I can quite put my finger on that bugs me.
