I suppose I know what you mean, lol. There are ways to do it that are unoffensive, and ways to do it that are kind of insulting, or condescending or whatever.

There are I know one of my friends is learning Japanese so she uses it whenever she can and others who just use it randomly, but it really gets to me when every thing so soooo super kawaii and then they pronounce it wrong and will hear nothing of it being a bit off or when they claim that they are so super Japanese cause they just love everything about Japan, I dunno I haven't had a day off in a long time so I'm probably a bit more irritable than normal and not making any sense.

darkocean: actually, you're not supposed to double post at all unless you're setting up a thread or bumping up a thread back to the first page, and that's usually only for shops O.o A lot of people make that mistake when they're new, though, so don't worry too much about it. I can see you did it trying to get others' attention, but honestly, in this thread, if we're here, we'll post. XD If you want to let us know you're still here, you can always do an edit and say something like "Edit: still here!" because it tells the time that you edited it last too <3

Yeah; I just look in my "my account" page to see if there are any new posts in the threads I post in. If there are, then I'll see the thread; if not, I won't see it.

With some threads, though, it's really frustrating because I'll want to keep them up, but I won't really have anything else to say or something, and it will be a thread that I will want to get new attention, not just the same people since they probably wouldn't care to keep posting...

That's why I like Solia's "bump" feature. You can bump it and it makes it like the last post you made is new, like you just made that post just then, and you don't have to make more posts to bring the thread up, but people will see it on the first page again. It's really handy.

Yeah, I think that feature is kind of neat too, but at least here you can double-post to bring it up to the front page if it is a shop, which I think is probably just as good. I had a shop on Solia that I did my second post to bring it up, then had to bump it to bring it up again... and then I was stuck. I wasn't allowed to post anymore to bring it back up to the front page and I still had stuff to sell :sweat: I can't seem to figure out how long it takes it before you can bump it again, either.

Yeah, that's the problem that I have a lot here. It's not shop threads, it's threads discussing a particular subject, like in the media forum or something. But if you have a bunch of consecutive posts of your own it's hard for people to come in and like, converse or something, I think. I don't know. I just know it's frustrating.

I'm doing ok. I was kind of sick yesterday, but I'm feeling better today.

We're going up to my husband's grandparents' house for Thanksgiving and we're leaving as soon as he and his sister are off of work. I've got to do laundry and do some packing and cleaning before then, so hopefully I'll get it all done in time. It's about a five hour drive, so I'm not looking forward to that too much, especially with a crazy puppy in the car O.o But it should be fun.

That's cool :3. We're going to my aunt and uncle's house I think. My dad's family alternates every year between him and his two brothers. They have a sister but she lives out of state so she just comes to town every year for the holiday.
