anyways, yeah.. my mother is random.. I was actually the one arguing against it, cause of how hard it would be.. like, we don't have enough room, and its expensive..
currently she's hooked on getting two small monkeys, but I'm trying to talk her out of that one too.. next its probably tigers or something.. haha i should take her to the zoo sometime in the near future.. ^_^

Yeah I think animals like that are too difficult to keep satisfied in a domesticated world. They're used to wandering and such. Cats and dogs are more content to be in one place... dogs are of course pack animals so they like being with other dogs, or at least with humans...

haha.. i would argue that cats like to socialize too.. XD
but yeah.. that's also partly why I'm against it.. i don't think its right to raise, say a monkey, to become "human" like, and then when the time comes and we have to give it to the zoo it will not be able to socialize with the other animals..

Well, some wild cats are social, and some are solitary so it's hard to say about domesticated cats since I don't really know the whole history of cats.

I think all wild animals should stay in the wild... but I'm very much the activist...

Yeah exactly lol... but... idk I think zoos are all right if they're not like cages or small exhibits that's what bothers me.

Yeah albinos can go in the sun right? It's just their eyes and skin are more sensitive.

*agrees* i actually think some zoo's (like the san diego wild animal park) are okay, cause they have some of the last living animals of races that are going instinct.. like, I'm against cages and stuff, but how else are they going to survive? hunters would probably get them, cause they are rare.. which is so sad..

thats true.. ^^ maybe they mostly just choose to stay out of the sun.. my friends uncle is albino, and he says that he never goes out in the sun.. that's why i thought they couldn't. :P

I can't imagine why there wouldn't be one, but it's only December 1st right now. Technically it's not yet winter for another three weeks. But besides that, it would be rough to run an event for a whole month.

Yeah; I had to disappear cause I had to get myself off of the internet except for AIM so I didn't have a zillion and one distractions keeping me from doing my work. (Then the only obstacle I have is myself... which is admittedly quite a formidable obstacle for my mind).

And I don't know about new year's. I don't remember if there was anything the last time XD.
