Not bad. I finally got an application in for a job yesterday, so that is great! Haven't heard anything back yet, but that's ok, I can wait... maybe...
And it's so cold here and there is snow on the ground. I know I really don't have room to complain because I know that it is colder other places, but the weather is just yuck. It has been raining on top of the snow, which just makes it yuck. And they're still trying to get me to tell them what I want for Christmas, but I really don't know >.< I wish I knew, I really really do, because I know that it is frustrating for them when I tell them that I don't know what I want. |

*shrugs* I usually go with easy stuff now. i'm too old for most of that stuff, so it's usually clothes, or cards to stores I like... easy stuff like that. :sweat:
as for the weather, I can sympathize. I travel for work, and I actually saw snow in texas! :shock: that's freaky. And, here the weather is so cold that we've had to idle our truck for the whole of our time off, just so the fuel won't gel up and keep the truck from starting later on. Miki! Gah! *chucks candles at the snowman* I hate the cold! I'm not from the mid-west but it seems so, yes. I'm from Pa, and we get the lake effect from lake Erie and all that, so winters there are pretty freaky. *shrugs* today it was about 8 degrees here, 3 yesterday... it only got up to about 15 or twenty at the highest though... tomorrow they're talking about freezing rain... yesterday i went to the dentist, too... It was trying to snow, but it mostly cleared up by 11:00.. I was supposed to go back at 2pm for a root canal too, but had a disagreement with my insurance company. Dumb bastards! :scream: :stare: |
I basically grew up in PA too and got the lake-effect stuff XD That's so funny, Aryah... I didn't know that we were near each other. I don't live there anymore, though.

I really miss it there. My mum lives out in the country... we've actually followed cows to school! 0_o As for cold versus dentists? After yesterday i say the cold. I had the most awesome tech cleaning my teeth, I think I might not be afraid of dentists ever again... at least, not this one... :P god, I'm so not happy about going out on the road tomorrow. I really hope they send us to the south east... I think they're the least likely to have snow right now. Everyone else is already suffering. wait, you're family tree goes through PA? That's a rather odd statement, taken a face value... |

@Aryah: I think the snow is eviller too!!! Well here's to wishing you get a path over to sunny Florida! I wouldn't wanna be out driving in the snow, even in a giant eighteen wheeler. Though, my car probably looks like a bug on it's windshield. XD
And not a REAL tree, I just mean my ancestors lived in PA when they first immigrated to the USA is all, about 310 years ago. ^__^ that's all. @Morwyn: I just know of PA as a state. XD I'm not good with directiosn either. |

We were supposed to get between either and fourteen inches of snow yesterday. The people directly to the south of use were supposed to get a wet ice storm, and the people north more powder snow.
So yesterday the freak blizzard hit around 10:30pm.... and ended about 11pm and maybe gave us three inches. Four if you reaaaaaaaaaaaally wanna be technical. >__> I know I sound silly but I'm a little disappointed, LAME blizzard! |
