@Kale: I doubt anybody would have wanted to see it. Luckily, there wasn't anybody on the road around me at the time, since I slid into the lane to my left. Otherwise, I would have ended up hitting at least one vehicle... Maybe more... :sweat:

@Kukon: Eh, I don't really spend much time over at Gaia anymore, so I'm not too worried about it. Honestly, I think that they should spend more time going after the hackers and the scammers than anything else, though.

Hehe, I would rather not have hit anyone either.. but at least no one was hurt. Totalled my mum's piece of junk tough... but now that she got a bigger car I hadn't gotten around to renewing my license ... xD I hate driving big cars... I like nice small ones. xD

@Thoth: Right now, I only have two vehicles. An `03 Chevrolet Cavalier and an `86 Chevrolet K-10 pickup truck (the K-10 is the one that I need to fix right now). But, I'm thinking of looking into buying a Camaro to toy around with. Aryah also has a `92 S-10 pickup truck that I promised I would restore / modify for her.

@Kale: A Pontiac Grand Am? Those things aren't really all that big. Be thankful that she didn't get an old "land yacht" like the '65 Chevrolet Impala 4-door that I used to have. That thing was HUGE. It was even longer than the old Cadillacs like in the '60s - '70s (I know because a friend of mine used to have one, and we parked them side-by-side to compare the lengths).

I'll get my pickup fixed at some point. I've got a vacation coming up from work, so maybe I'll fix it during then.

Compared to the small Cavalier she had or the small car my instructor had taught me in.. it's big. >.>

@Thoth: That's why I like GT (Gran Touring) racing over NASCAR. GT racing is primarily held on road courses, which have left and right hand turns, as well as up-hills and down-hills. Much more flavor than NASCAR. :yes: Not to mention that most of the race cars started out as normal street cars, and were modified for racing rather than the car being built from scratch solely as a race car (like they do in NASCAR).

@Miki: Hmm... I used to have a black '98 GMC Sonoma (same thing as a Chevy S-10) pickup truck. Actually, I wish I still had it. That was the only vehicle that I had in any of those colors, though. Other than that, I had a gray Cavalier, a white S-10, a white Sierra, a beige Impala, a brown K-10 (still have this one, but I plan on repainting it at some point), and a yellow Cavalier (still have this one, too).

Oooh, car talk! Hmm... let's see.. I learned to drive on an old Cutlass supreme. I actually really liked that car. Much safer for a new driver, and all.

Then, my dad gave me my pappy's old 90 'Pontiac Sunbird. Itty bitty car compared to the oldsmobile, and I didn't like it at first. It took corners really well, but sucked on the highway. If I got over 60mph the car shook, and the wind from passing vehicles made it rock. I thought for sure it was gonna take off one day! :lol:

Ummm.... then I had a silver Dodge Stratus, sedan. It was okay, but the engine was flaky. The thing hated to idle, and died at stop lights several times. That was the only car I had an accident in too, and all it did was ding the plastic rear bumper. :roll:

And now, I have my dad's old S-10, which I'm still waiting for the title on before Dimi and I can do any work on it. :(

Oh, and personal note, Dimi's K-10 actually used to belong to one of my uncles. :) Funny how most of my vehicles have all come from family.
