Also...it isn't quite...we're not getting training...it's that, what I learned in those four months of training was specifically for a wartime situation. Not a clinic. And the providers don't understand that. They keep asking us if we're stupid, basically. They haven't a clue that I know what to do if someone comes in with their arm blown off, but not if they just have a sprain. xD @Aryah: I'm doing okay! I'm glad I have today off...Friday night/Saturday morning I had staff duty after working at the clinic. *rolls eyes* So from 4:30pm till 8:30am, I sat by the phone to answer it. Luckily, the sergeant I was with was really cool and let me watch a couple movies. I saw 7 Pounds and Wedding Crashers. xD |

I'd be taking my shots at the providers if I were you... but, I'm bitter like that... :D EDIT: @ultima: Well... only one of them actually fits that description. I was actually trying to decide where Michi knows the other guy from, and one of my ideas was that he works at the butcher shop where Michi gets her blood from (helping the butcher, not supplying the blood).... just an idea... |
@Ultima: Luckily, some of the providers are cool and laid back. Especially one of them used to be a medic too. So he definitely walked in our shoes.
*can see you playing hot and bothered beach bums, snickers* @Aryah: Seven pounds is pretty good. It's really slow and kind of confused me on what was supposed to be happening. But at the end it ties together. It's just...really sad. :< xD Well...I don't want to be demoted for insulting an officer. 8D I'm thinking about being one myself someday. xD |

@Kale: Eh, it's not your fault. I'll just be happy when I get some closure on the whole accident and I can put the whole damn thing behind me. It just seems right now like it keeps getting thrown in my face is all. I mean, I thought that it was pretty much behind me for the most part (except for waiting to hear what the review board has to say, which it seems like they're taking their sweet time on) until today. Then I got another slap in the face delivered by registered mail today... :stare: :roll:

@Kale: <Today, a little more than a month after the accident took place, I received a registered letter from the state of WV. It included an invoice for the charges for replacing / repairing the guardrail... And it isn't cheap...> *dies* :XP
