xD He keeps saying stuff or doing stuff to sabotage me. Because I outrank him by two ranks, he's been slacking on his duties. So the superiors will come to me, blame me for it not getting done, and THEN ask me why this or that hasn't been done. The thing is, I've TOLD him to make sure it's done because it's on his head. When they found I've actually issued a "command," it backfired and they've turned on him. He's actually told me several times, "Oh, we can't watch movies or play on our personal computers...but I bet you if we were having sex right here at the desk, they wouldn't care!" I was tempted to slam him with an EO complaint. :/

Well, I'm not sure what an "EO complaint" is, but that comment would be enough for a sexual harassment charge. That's still a pretty big issue in the military, isn't it? Like enough for a Dishonorable Discharge?

xD EO is equal opportunity. So sexual harassment falls under that. It's a big deal...but I told my superiors that something happened and I'm going to deal with it personally by talking to him first. If he does it again, I'll go to them and file a complaint. I mean, if I get promoted, that's kind of what I'll be doing. Handling issues myself. Figured it'd be good practice. >_>;;
And I'm sure it takes a lot more than just one complaint to get this kid out of the military. Oh well. He leaves in November. We're practically counting down the days. (We're so bad...xD) @Stefan: Of course I remember you. ;D I took my memory loss prevention meds today! |

@TK: Well, I guess it's good that he'll be gone in November. But, that's still about 3 months that you have to deal with him. It's volunteering, but I'm doing basically what I would be if I were being paid, so I call it my job. It's enjoyable, yes, but sometimes gets on my nerves. I work in a day care with the older group of kids (4-5 year olds) and they're all very sweet. It's a few of the other staff that really get on my nerves. Today, I was scolded by one of the staff, for SUPERVISING a boy in timeout. I'm not the one who put him in timeout, I was only keeping an eye on him, and I got in trouble, cause, mercy me, a volunteer putting a child in timeout! *gasps* HOW TRECHOURS! D< ...anyways, it's fun, and could lead to an actual paying job, so I grin and bear it. I've been there for a few months now, and I hope after a few more, they'll offer me a paying job! :boogie:// @ Tori:: OMG! I want some of your art so bad. >.< I need to get more gold so I can bribe you into making me some pretty arts. T.T *goes into saving rampage* |

@Clair: I think that's funny how it's not really the job that's bothersome and annoying, but the people you work with. >_> I'm literally having the same problem. The people in charge and my coworkers are ridiculous. They're making everything just like high school with their nonsensical drama. Instead of working, my supervisor is constantly on her cell phone talking to her boyfriend. *rolls eyes* And an officer enjoys yelling at us in front of patients about stuff HE messed up on. How about now putting appointments so close to each other? You take so long with your patients...THAT'S why they're not getting seen immediately. They're waiting on YOU. ARGGGGGH...

Yeah, I've finally got a day off today. Then, I get to go to work for another two days before I get another day off. That kinda irritates me. I mean, I told them when I was hired that I didn't care what days off I got as long as they were two days in a row. I've yet to have two days off in a row. Go figure, eh?
Lockdown? That doesn't sound good... Well, at least it's only pretending, and not something serious going on for real. But, still. |

@TK: Actually, all I said was that I'd be home every night and have two days off every week. ;) That's about all the predictability there is to the schedule for this job. Other than that, it's a "rotating" schedule, which means that my days off and the hours that I work can change from week to week.
@Clair: Oh, I know the feeling. I had to leave to go to go take care of some things. I'm back now, but I don't know for how long. |
