Nope, don't listen to any of those.
Don't care much for 'em. >.>//

I'm gonna hit the sack now, actually.
I'm surprisingly exhausted. >.<

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2009 01:07 AM

Ok, well g'night and sweet dreams, then.

rampartte 09-14-2009 02:45 AM

o__o I've emptied out the room again... before I even got here!

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2009 02:50 AM

Almost 2 full hours before you got here. But, I'm still here. :ninja: I guess that makes me empty. :ninja:

Clair Voyant 09-14-2009 10:18 AM

Morning, guys.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2009 04:10 PM

G'morning, Clair. *hugs*

Clair Voyant 09-14-2009 11:19 PM

Hey, Dimitri!
Are you here now!? :D

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2009 11:47 PM

I am now (although distracted  )

Clair Voyant 09-14-2009 11:48 PM

Dimitri! =D :glomp:
How are you?

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2009 11:51 PM

Heya
I'm doing alright. Just trying to transfer about 5.5 gigs of music over to this laptop... for the fourth time... :stare:

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 12:09 AM

Aww, I hope that works out for you! D":

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 12:17 AM

Well, I was trying to do it the "nice" way and set it up so WMP would just read it from my external drive instead of transferring my music folder over to this comp (since it's not my comp to begin with). The only problem with doing it that way is that WMP needs to actually play the songs first before it'll see them on my external drive. But every time I played my music, it would always be interrupted by someone (who shall remain nameless) before it could play all the songs. After 3 failed attempts to get WMP to play all my music the "nice" way (after getting a little more than half way through each time), I finally got tired of it and said "screw it", then did it the "easy" way by copying my music folder over to this laptop.

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 12:22 AM

Oh, wow. o.o

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 12:29 AM

I guess it wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have 2200+ songs (I don't remember the exact number of songs. It might be closer to 2500 songs) in my folder. Anyway, that's what happens when I try to do something in a "nice" way with other people's interests in mind, only to have something like that happen repeatedly when I try to do whatever it is that I'm trying to do. Oh, well, shit happen, I suppose. :XP

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 12:30 AM

I just love music.
Between my sister and my mom and myself, we have over 3k songs.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 12:33 AM

Oh, I used to have a lot more music than I do now. But, after 3 hard drive failures, I lost a lot of the music that I used to have. Now I can't even find the rest of the music that I lost. (had most of it on CD, but I lost a bunch of the CDs because of the divorce).

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 12:54 AM

 It's hard for me to stick to one kind of music.
I'm all over the place with what I like to listen to, myself.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 12:58 AM

Yeah, I'm like that too. Some days I'll want to listen to some rock, other days I'll want to listen to some country, some days I'll want to listen to some Japanese anime and/or videogame soundtracks, etc, etc.

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 01:02 AM

I like Japanese music. :)

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 01:05 AM

Some of my friends don't understand why I like listening to Japanese anime soundtracks. For me, it isn't always about the lyrics. Some songs I like because of the lyrices, but sometimes all it takes for me to like a song is the bass line or the tune. :P

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 01:34 AM

For me, it's just the sound of the song that draws me in.//

Going to bed now.
Night.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 01:37 AM

I can fully understand that. Although, it's strange when you hear a song and like the music of the song, then listen to the lyrics later and they end up being something really strange or lyrics that you simply don't like at all. So what do you do in that situation? Do you continue listening to the song for the music, or do you stop listening to the song because you don't like the lyrics or they offend you or something like that?

rampartte 09-15-2009 02:51 AM

I love a catchy tune! ^__^ The words can be fun too, but the tune always reels me in!

Clair Voyant 09-15-2009 06:04 PM

Afternoon, everyone. ^^

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2009 09:36 PM

I finally got home from work a little while ago. Now I can relax for a while.
