@Ultima: Wow, that's long! I haven't had hair that long in quite sometime. Planning on continuing to grow it out to maybe that length. I need to learn how to make a bun too. >_>;;
And no! That was an awesome start. One thing I'm bad at is...unless I know the characters really well is that...I'm mainly reactionary. 8D Someone says something or does something, then my character will respond. *hides* And it takes me awhile to figure out my people. So sometimes they'll act one way in the beginning. Then once I get a feel for them, they kind of...change to something I'm more comfortable with. >_>;; @Clair: Which other animes are you into? |
@TK: The most I did with my hair when I had it that long (other than brushing/combing/washing it, that is) is putting it in a ponytail. :lol: Although, there were some girls around me at a couple of the places that I worked at that enjoyed braiding my hair while we were on break. :ninja:
Ahh, ok. I can understand that. Well, our characters will be meeting each other in the next post or two, I think. Actually, my next post will probably be something along the lines of my character moving his stuff into his apartment, then hem-hawing around until he goes to bed. Then going to work in the following post. Of course, I guess I could always merge those two posts into one, also. As for your character changing, isn't development part of RPing? I mean, growing in certain directions as they come into contact with other characters. Their mannerisms and such changing is only natural, I think. :yes: Long story short, I wouldn't worry about it too much. ;) |

I ended up cutting it late last summer while I was trucking. That wasn't because of the heat so much as the fact that long hair is so difficult to take care of out on the road. :XP I still have a few pics of me with long hair, but the pics were taken by webcam, so they're really grainy and kinda dark. The only decent quality pic that I have of myself and could possibly post here was taken after I cut my hair. :sweat:

Well, I dunno. I thought my hair was actually easier to take care of after I cut it. Then again, I may have cut my hair shorter than you cut yours.

ARGH...Firefox crashed, and I lost the post I was typing in the sci-fi one. Dx I was almost done too! I'm going to head to bed after I retype it.
My hair was cut close to my head, but not so much that it would look too boyish. Well, when I cut my hair short, I cut it to about 1 inch long on the top and in the back, and 1/2 inch on the sides. :lol: Ok, I'll PM them to you. I don't want to scare everybody off or anything like that. It's been acting strangely ever since I updated it. :/ It said it had two updates to fix security issues and...blah blah blah. But lately it's just been crashing a lot. *shakes fist at it* xD

Hmm, how strange. I don't think I've ever had issues like that with Firefox before. However, I have had problems loading pages at times. Aryah thinks that it's an issue with our new ISP, but I don't think it is. I think it's something to do with either Firefox or Vista. I'm hoping it's Vista because I really like Firefox. Although, in the future, maybe you should think about typing up long posts in a notepad file, then copy and paste it into the post window. That way, if Firefox goes wonky on you again, at least you have the post ready to re-paste. :yes:
I actually got that when I was engaged to my wife. She used to call me "Tiger" back then. If you look really close, the tiger has a rose in it's mouth, and she got a tattoo of a rose on her left breast. :ninja: At least I didn't get her name tattooed on my arm, eh? Nope, not at all. Maine doesn't know what a "Big" city is. Though, when Clair passed through Portland on her way to a camp with some friends she sorta teared up- kinda looked like the promises of being a big city some day. :gonk: |
Maine is one of only three states in the continental U.S. that I haven't been to yet. Now that I'm not trucking anymore, I'm not sure that I'll visit any of those states now.
Sometimes I wish that I lived in a small town. You know, one of those towns where everybody knows everybody else, and they all look out for one another. Of course, that could end up being a double-edged sword, too. |

Here, it's a small island town, and if you don't know someone, then someone you know knows them, but I wouldn't say we all look out for each other. Probably close to opposite. We take care of ourselves/family/friends... not everyone. >.> |
Actually, Aryah grew up in a town like that. I've been there a few times with her and it's a nice little place.
What I meant was that if some outsider came into town and was starting trouble with somebody from the town, there would be several other townsfolk that would come out and stick up for their fellow townsperson. :yes: |
