Really? I thought that all small towns were like that.

Yeah, that's why I don't like eating spicy food. That and the fact that spicy food doesn't seem to agree with my digestive system very well. :XP

Clair Voyant 09-18-2009 09:46 PM

I love spicey foods.
I'm gonna disappear for a bit.
Be back soon.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-18-2009 09:55 PM

Ok, see you when you get back.

Clair Voyant 09-18-2009 10:32 PM

I am back. :D

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-18-2009 10:33 PM

Welcome back.

I was actually thinking about laying down and taking a nap for a couple of hours, though.

Clair Voyant 09-18-2009 10:35 PM

Oh, well, that's fine.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-18-2009 10:36 PM

Yeah, I think I probably will take a nap. It's just that today wore me out so much, even though it's my day off. This is exactly the reason why I wish I had two days off in a row. :stare:

Clair Voyant 09-18-2009 10:42 PM

Aww. :(
I'm really sorry you're so tired.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:19 AM

I'm back now.

It's not your fault that I'm tired, but thank you.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:21 AM

I wish you didn't have to be. :(

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:26 AM

Yeah, I wish I didn't have to be worn out on my day off, either. But, that's the way life is sometimes. I just hope that my nap doesn't effect me trying to sleep tonight, since I have to get up early in the morning for work tomorrow.

I think that TK is still having a rough time at work, too. It seems like they've been working her to the bone here lately (more so than usual, I mean). :XP

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:31 AM

Poor, TK. T__T
School is exhausting for Clair.
She can't imagen how hard work is on TK.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:37 AM

Well, work could be related to school depending on the type of job it is. Mine is about 98% physical labor, so that would be something along the lines of going to school and taking PE for 8 - 10 hours.
TK's job would be more along the lines of taking an anatomy class (or something along the same lines) for roughly 8 hours while also taking a PE class for about 6 hours. That's the way I view it, anyway.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:38 AM

Wow... that's a weird way of looking at it. o.o

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:39 AM

Yeah, it's weird, but it's a valid way of looking at it.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:43 AM

What do you do? :O

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:48 AM

Well, I do basic mechanics. Stuff like mounting tires on cars and pickups, rotating the tires, fixing flat tires (as long as they aren't non-repairable) changing brake pads/shoes, changing oil, doing tranny flushes, coolant flushes, brake fluid flushes, diff flushes, etc, etc. Stuff like that.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:49 AM

Do you enjoy that? :)

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 01:54 AM

Eh, I like tinkering around with vehicles, but I don't really think that I could honestly say that it's something that I would enjoy doing as a job day in and day out. It's something that gets really old and repetitive really quickly.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 01:56 AM

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. T_T

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 02:03 AM

Hmm, that didn't come out entirely the way I intended it to. Let me rephrase a bit. I would actually love to have a mechanic job where I modify cars and pickups. You know, like turning them into race cars and stuff like that. I would love being able to drive them afterward even more. But the basic mechanics are exactly what they sound like: doing the same thing that every mechanic knows how to do, but would rather not have to do every day.

Honestly, though, I think I'm going to have to find a different job. One that doesn't pay me by how much work I actually do (which is nice on the busy days, but totally sucks on the days where business is slow), and where I have to rely on someone else to properly log how much work I do so I can get paid for the work (because we have several idiots in charge of that and no way for us mechanics to check and make sure that we're getting paid for everything that we actually do). And I'd also like to have a job with a set schedule and where I can have two days off in a row every week.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 02:09 AM

Yeah, I can see how that would be boring and frustrating. :yes://

Well, Clair is going to hit the sack.
She's tired and she's having some pain in her stomach again. >.>

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 02:25 AM

Aww, I hope you get to feeling better soon. Ok, g'night and sweet dreams.

Clair Voyant 09-19-2009 10:39 AM

Good Morning!
Anyone around? ^^

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-19-2009 10:37 PM

@Clair: Huh, you got online around the time I got up this morning.

So, is anybody online right now?
