@Kale: Yeah, I've never been a big advocate for the military... but I'm not totally against it. Is your ferret ok?

Ahh! I almost forgot! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TK!!!

@Kale: Is your ferret alright? I mean, other than the missing ear.

@TK: I just replied to our other RP.

Yeah, she has earmites, as well as the other two. She's also lost weight.. so need to watch and make sure she's eating and gains weight.

Aww! I'm sorry to hear that! I hope they gave you some good medicine for it so they go away soon. I feel sorry for animals that have to deal with things like that... our cat has them too, but he's so old.... :(

@Kale: Yeah, I guess I'd probably lose my appetite if someone chewed off one of my ears, too.
Glad to hear that she's doing alright all things considered, though.

Yeah. All three of them will have them. They were trying to help her... by chewing off her ear.. and started on the second.

I'd seen Panda doing the same to Daemon.

But yes they gave medicine, enough for all three of them.

They said not to worry about my cats having caught them from them.

Dimi; Eh.. she went earless yesterday...
It takes longer than a day to lose weight.

@Kale: That's a good point. I hope that the ear mites are the only problem, then.

 Wow! I guess that's another one of those weird examples of animal mentality that chewing her ears off was a way of helping.... No offense. I'm not trying to make fun. I just think that's a little shocking.

I'm glad they're all going to be okay though, what with the medicine and all.
Does Daemon still have both of his ears?

Yeah he does.
The vet said they had to have to be rather aggressive to be that 'helpful' :?

Heh, I can't help but wonder about the look on the vet's face. :P

 They already knew the reason I was coming in.

Panda & Daemon are something like bullies, but they've never harmed her this much before. They get bored when she doesn't fight back.. And there's two food bowls so she had access to one at least without having to worry. But.. I dunno.. she's always been small.

Aww, hehehee.
the only time I've ever had that problem with pets was with my hermit crabs... and their brains are so small to begin with soo... it's pretty much pointless to try and stop them from bullying each other *shrugs*

YAY! I finally heard back from my battle buddy in basic and AIT. <3 I feel so bad for everything she's been going through. *very distracted, apologies* ^^;;

@Aryah: Trust me...people in the military have curly hair too. ^^ You'll just need to pin it or load it up with gel? We wear the patrol caps in basic. When you graduate, that's when you get to wear berets.

Ponytails aren't allowed. You have to put it in a bun. I had my hair down until AIT when it was long enough to pull back and too short to put into a bun.

And thank you!

@Kale: Your poor ferret. :<

@TK: Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. *sigh* Well, I've got hair gel, hair spray, and luckily I like hats! So, I guess it'll just have to be good enough.

Oooh, how is she? Did she go to a combat zone or something?

@dimi: Okay, love you babe. Night.

@Ultima: Sorry. ^^;;

@Aryah: *laughs* That's good. xD I didn't get into hats until I was forced to wear them. Now whenever I'm in civilians, it feels weird to not wear a hat!

Well...she spent about a couple months at Fort Benning, GA only to find out she was pregnant with her husband's child. Thing is, he's been cheating on her and she was in the process of filing for a divorce. She ended up ending the contract with the Army and going back home. What's sad is that she's only 19 and now about to have two children to look after. Family's not that reliable so I hope she'll be okay. :<

Yeah  lucky me. I just spent a lot of time in outdoor sports and such, so I got comfortable with hats pretty quick.

Oh, wow! That really sucks. I managed to make it through my first marriage without any kids, thank god! But, I think I would actually like to have one now. Just not financially a good idea. :(
I really hope things work out for her. It's too bad she had to quit, although I'm surprised she was even able...?

Do you like camping?

Well, they gave her a choice to either leave the service or to stay in. The problem is that you kind of need someone to keep custody of your kids in case something happens, you get deployed, stuff like that. Since she's getting divorced, the husband is out. Her family relations are kind of rocky at best. So they're out. Basically there would be no one. That's why they let her choose just so she'd keep her kids.

That's just what I heard from her. I actually never looked up stuff like that.

I want to get married and have kids before 30...but from the looks of things, it won't be happening. :/

Oh, yeah! I've always liked camping. why?

Ohhh, yeah. That makes a lot of sense. I understand now.

I'm sorry, TK! Don't give up though, kay? Hehee. I'd really like to have kids before 30 too, but for me that's less than 4 years away

Because you'll spend a total of...*thinks* eleven days in the field. xD Basically you camp out, play soldier for awhile, so on and so on. I liked going to the field only because we got to SLEEP IN. *laughs* In garrison (the barracks) we could get up early because there were lights. But in the field, for safety, we got to sleep in till like 5 or 6am. *cackles*

I hope so. Just getting old and wondering if I'm ever even going to DATE. >_>

 well, that sounds strangely exciting. xp

yeah, I know the feeling. And I'm scared because of my family's history..... I'm only 26 and my closest remaining family members are my step-mom and a couple of aunts and uncles :(
It makes me wonder. you know?

EDIT: well, it's late, babe. I think I'm going to go, so I can get some sleep.

I just don't like going to the field, because you can't take showers and I don't like being outside, in general. ^^; But in basic, going to the field is like a vacation. xD You just have to march out there.

*hugs* Awww. Well, there's always adopting too?

Ack! hehee

yeah, I know what you mean... but, I had a similar problem with truck driving.... i started carrying wet-wipes because of that. :ninja:

Yes, that's very true.... but I think it's hard to adopt children young enough to really make you feel like it's truly your kid (as oppose to just a kid in your care, like a teenager would likely do). Agh, I dunnio! :headdesk:

I'm so tired right now. Okay, I'm really going this time.
Good night, hon.

Baby wipes because an all purpose cleaner. xD From everything from field "showers" to cleaning your weapon. 8D

I just know that a lot of people here are adopting a lot of kids. An officer and his family - they already have three of their own children - adopted. Then a sergeant with two of his own are about to finish up the paperwork on getting their child. It's sad to think these kids are infants and they didn't have parents until now. :(

I want to be in a relationship before kids even come to mind. Sigh.

Have a good night. ^^
