I was feeling terrible for about three days. Completely drained despite just starting the day, nausea, stomach pains, no appetite and other stuff. Now I think I'm better again. My appetite's back. xD That's all I care about! FOOOOOD...


One of the providers was going to give me quarters so I could recover. He didn't want me going around infecting patients if I had the flu.

Meh. :) I never skipped work or school because of illness or injury, so why start now? *is kidding, doesn't want to infect people and have them return as patients*

I didn't get to get quarters, because I was tasked out to another clinic to work. Which was fine. It was fun giving all those immunizations. Kind of like a vacation...*humored*

I'm going to the field for about a week. *rolls eyes* No showers. Great. Then I work till next Monday. So basically, I'll be working for two weeks straight without my three days off for every five days I work.

I hate my job. :)

I've been complaining less than usual, because I'm trying to be positive...Don't want to be that whiny person no one wants to hang out with. xD

Oh, and I passed a PT test. Wanted to treat myself with something, but couldn't think of a single thing I wanted. :/ Hm.

@TK: Ahh! You're not the only one... I'm back to driving again, so I have to work for 14 days just to get 2 days off... :( So, I know how you feel. On the up-side, today is the end of day 6, so one more week! :squee:

On the other hand, I'm working from 02:00 - 16:00'ish. So, when I get on-line it will probably be around 16:00 or so.... that's central time, by the way. (For all you civvie's, that's 2am - 4pm :lol: )

I've worked about a week and a half, and I'm about to have my two days off. *dies* I've never felt so burned out. Especially after today. We immunized dependents today. Some of the children screamed bloody murder. One kid was kicking and screaming so much, his mother and another medic and I were holding him down while the nurse administered it. I thought I was going to lose an eye. >_>;;

A little bit, yeah... Mostly, Dimi tried to get some of the items I liked for me. ;) XP

Yeah, I thought so too, and in the long run it might... but for the 3-4 days that I did it, it was actually okay... I had some trouble getting to sleep the first night, but after that it wasn't so bad.... And, it was nice because I would stop driving around 1600, when most other drivers are still working, and most truck-stops parking lots are nearly empty :D

No, I'm supposed to be a national driver... all 48 states... so far they haven't asked me to go any great distances.

Right now, I don't much care where they send me as long as I can avoid the bad, winter weather.

Yeah, I thought so too... but it's actually not that hard... it's just a matter of dealing with other peoples' crap. That, and learning how to not let others rush you when you know you need to slow down and take your time. ;)

I dunno, he's never tried that... and I have a rice sock at home that would probably work wonders for him. He'll just complain, then take some Aleve, and maybe go to bed... that's it.

I thought I'd drop in here and see what you have going :)! Now that the event is (almost) over, I'll be looking for somewhere that may keep me a bit busier than just hunting down threads.
