that's sounds like my worst nightmare Tori!!! I have a friend in montana who thinks that freezing to death is supposed to be relaxing or something and I don't think he's really from texas because no texan likes freezing to death in an ice cube!!!

I think it's kind of funny how we have people who spent all their lives in Illinois and some northern states, but they can't handle the cool temperatures here. Acclimation...funny...

It's when you adjust to your environment's temperatures.
I've been avoiding wearing jackets and coats, or even the fleece that comes with my uniform, just to try to handle the cold temperatures. Just because it's going to get colder...and I only have one more coat that's warmer...

I fail at such things. I can't stand the slightest cold, so I end up wearing jackets even in the summer. But last year I got so used to freezing my butt off in uniform during ftball games and competitions that I got used to the cold for a while.

I'm not doing well myself. x_x I've actually been running to and from work while shoving my hands either in my pockets or against myself.

lol!! my exercise is running to the dinning hall so I can eat a little. I wish they were open in the middle of the night/wee morning hours because that's when I'm hungriest and I have no food!!!

@Kat: Man...speaking of being open at midnight...supposedly we're allowed to be fed four times in the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight chow. *sighs* Only time we had midnight chow was when there was an exercise for two weeks where the whole base was locked down and pretending like we were at war.

And that chow was good. 8D When you're hungry, everything's good. xD

When I was in basic, the chow was bland. Terribly bland. No matter how much salt and pepper you added...it was bland. xD But I didn't bother "seasoning" them up, because the drill sergeants would yell at you to hurry up.

Then in AIT, everything was salty. Horribly salty. >_> I went straight for anything they couldn't season...

Now it's kind of in the middle. It's usually stuff I wouldn't eat...but like I said...I'm a glutton and after not eating for long hours in the day, I'll eat it. =_=;;

strange... very strange...

I got today off to restart my hours (because I had none), and they keep sending me these strange load assignments that are supposed to picked up today... then, FINALLY, they send me a nice one that picks up right where I am, tomorrow morning.... and a few minutes ago they took it off of me! :gonk: :cry: I'm so confused.

O_o;;; I hate that! Do they do that often? Say you're going to do something and then rip it away? :/

usually, no, they don't... but, being as they kept sending me bad ones... it's happened about three or four times today.... so, no. I don't know exactly when I'll get my next load, but I imagine it will be something picking up tomorrow... I think... :ninja:

a bad load is anything that's not good :lol: ... in this case, it's things that require me to work when I have no available hours to do so.... :roll:

Working. I used to have this whole Thanksgiving weekend off, but when they switched me to nights spontaneously, I lose a lot of my off days. T^T

I tried to get pumpkin pie from the store, but they only sold sweet potato pie. I didn't get a turkey since they didn't sell small portions...So all I have is beef. xD Which I'll eat later.

No... I'm in the middle of a two week stint... I told them I'm working through thanksgiving... extra pay, no in-laws crazy sisters... and no turkey... I've never been big on thanksgiving... :stare:

beef is good... did they not have pheasant? I really wanna try that some time.

I've never had pheasant. And they don't carrying much variety where I am.
When I was younger, I had my parents get duck instead of turkey since I'm not really fond of turkey. xD Chinese style.
