yeah, the only time I've actually enjoyed the turkey at thanksgiving was the first one I had after I got married... we went to a friend/ship-mate of my ex, who deep-fried the turkey... very moist!

a brown recluse spider bit me... and I sat for a week while it ate away at my knee... creating an inch wide hole... :stare:

OH GOD...That must have been so awful. T_T I remember how paranoid we were in basic and AIT about them. Especially after one guy in AIT got bit on his backside and couldn't sit or lay on his back for a long time.

How did you endure that? D: Wasn't it painful??

The supervisor doesn't like him so said he had to work on Thanksgiving alone because he's Jewish. We gave her a funny look and said it's not even a religious holiday. She stared at us for awhile and went, oh well.

my cousin stole my laptop and downloaded knew browsers and a movie to it and hung out on facebook so I couldnt get any writing in my novel done, so I'm going to be staying up late. Well, there's a screaming baby in the next room so I wouldnt bee sleeping anyways. At least I found a couch so I won't have to sleep on the floor for a few days.

I'm 100 words short of 40k words. I'm still getting there. Hopefully I finish in the what, 5 days I have left? and I'm so tired too.....

sleeping on the couch would be easier if I had a blanket. I had like 6 pillows and a sleeping bag that uncalled for in this heat.

I think this couch is actually long enough for me though. I've slept in chairs so many times before!!

xD I've tried to sleep in chairs. Didn't work, because I really need to recline back. I've slept in two rolling chairs with my torso on one and my legs on the other. Very uncomfortable...but I did pass out. And I didn't fall. xD

I had to sleep in this one chair so many times at my gramp's place and I would put my feet on this old foot stool. comfy for sitting, but not for sleeping. I would wake up so stiff!!

is it pathetic that I'm messaging my cousin in the next room. apparently we're the only ones still awake.

I know...and I hate how much my neck hurts when I sleep sitting up. x_x

xD My friend and I joked that if we were ever roommates, we'd probably do just that. Well, I think it's good...because you won't disturb those who are sleeping?

It was kind of nice. One of the soldiers and an officer brought over food from their dinner parties. So I had two meals...both of which I consumed in the first four hours of my shift. x_X *is such a glutton*

at least you had food and people to be with! I'm glad!

my family managed to blow up a jar and light sweet potatoes on fire. It was amusing and I only ended up getting 3 hours of sleep last night.
