True tears seems to be a high school love triangle, but with this search for freedom and the tears of a girl who already cried all of hers. I didn't get that far. its odd, but the chars. are cute.
italian? I read the first two books of Tokyo mew mew al amode. they were the only books in the series our library at school had. I read a lot from there too. we had all of fruits basket, then rave master, naruto, black cat, tsubasa. some really good stuff.

I thought I'd better drop in and see what was going on in here. I've yet again did a disappearing act. I'm trying to stay busy around the house and out in the yard here lately. I have a few other things I'm working on as well, but nothing solid yet. So how is everyone doing? Kat, I really like that outfit!

Hello there, Ethileen! Great meeting you as well! Thanks for the compliment. Doing really good here. Feel kind of bad that I haven't stopped in in a few days, but I've been working on some things here at home that have kept me busy. So how do you like it here so far?

And of course Thank You for the compliment.
Never feel that bad about having some down time. Ugh! Laundry. I don't mind it much; I hate folding things and worse yet, having to put it all away. That part seems so easy, but I still hate it.

well, I need to do hw. but I'd rather sit around and spend a day or two doing nothing. I had such a hard art project now I just want to do nothing and that's what I'm doing. I don't want to get up and go all the way to the bottom floor to do my laundry, but I need to, so I'll brb.

It's good to take time to relax. Not having clean clothes is a pretty good motivator to get it done, that's for sure. I'll have to get to mine tomorrow. If my youngest will ever get his stuff out of the washer and dryer, that is.

you make your kids do their own laundry? smart. my parents only did that when we were about to start college.
ick, my roommate is throwing out her sour milk in the sink in our room.

I usually start making them do their own when they get so lazy that they won't even put up the laundry that I've taken the time to wash AND fold for them. Or when they seem to be able to do it without tearing up my washer and dryer. With my oldest son, he never hit the point where he couldn't tear things up (even at 18), but I wasn't going to do it for him because of that. I still end up doing a lot of the youngest's stuff, but that's to get it out of my way. It never ceases to amaze me that I'll go to do some of his and I find clothes in the basket that are still folded from when I did them before, that he's piled dirty clothes on top of because he was too lazy to put them away. He's twelve, by the way. I would still be doing it for him if I knew he appreciated it.
Ugh on that milk! Really sour milk is so nasty.

I see. you can mess up the washer? anyways, my brothers still don't put away their clothes and at home I tend not to either. Some of my clothes drawers are broken so I have to pile pants on the floor in front of them and sometimes clothes I know I'll wear soon end up on the floor too. yep, but when my mom washes my clothes I do end up folding them
I'm glad I didn't get a good look. I don't know how sour it was and I'm glad I never use her fridge.

Yes, you can. If you continuously overload it, it will tear it up. I don't know exactly how, but it will (because it has to work much harder than designed). The same with a dryer if you think about it. Also, overloading a dryer and using a longer drying cycle than necessary will use up more electricity, and dryers can really suck it up. Older son just loved to do that. Why not? It wasn't him that would have to pay for anything. That one........I really am glad he's out of the house. He really was/is one of the most ungrateful people I've ever met in my entire life. Really sad, because I certainly didn't raise him that way. Neither my daughter or younger son is near like him in that respect. Shoot, I still recall all the times I would buy something simple and "necessary" like pajamas or a shirt for the little guy and he would thank me-even if it was a day or two later. He's really something special though, even if he is a bit lazy and spoiled :)!

wow, thinks of the dryers at school loaded with crap. hm....
that's too bad that your oldest is like that, but at least the other ones are nice. That makes me think that I should call my mom more and be nicer and stuff....I'm such a lazy individual that I tend not to do stuff like that. I hate doing chores at my parents beck and call.

Awww, made you think of your ma :). Yeah, that one is just horrible. My girl has done her share of things, and I'd still love to wring her little neck about some of them, but she's not an evil child, or mean, or selfish. She used to be so responsible and overly mature about many things, but at the same time SO much the opposite on others. And the little guy really is different than even most people I'd say. He has some odd little quirks, but who doesn't. He's really a good kid though. He's pushing it on some things though, but it's to be expected at his age. I'm also trying to do things differently with him than I did the others. I've never treated any of my kids the same, but I really am trying different ways than before. I figure they didn't work with the other two, so it's time to change MY ways as well. With that and him being so different, I'm hoping I have a winner this time around! You know, just the normal things that all parents want, for him to graduate from school, even go to college and have a good job some day.
You know, I never really made my other two do much at all. I did most everything for them and would only make them do things when I got fed up with doing it. I figured since I didn't work, it was my job more or less. The youngest one has been much more spoiled yet at the same time is having to do, and will have to do, much more than the older two ever did. It's all a part of that "changing" I mentioned. I'm going to have him working in the yard and fixing things in the house and all that stuff. I want him to be able to do things and experience more things.
Oh, and with the dryer, make sure you always empty the lint thing every time. It helps the stuff dry better and faster. It's also a fire hazard when you don't empty it.

aw, you're so harsh on your kids! you can't expect us to turn out right at first, but I bet they're all special and good in their own way! after all, we're only kids and I hear that the brain doesn't finish developing until 21 or something and the judgement is the last thing that finishes developing.
there were only certain chores my parents made us do. helping cook and laundry were low on the list, but dishes and yard work is our realm. We get paid to do all the yard work though.
yeah, I checked before I dryed my clothes. I don't think everyone does that though.

That lint filter can be easy to overlook or forget.
As for the kids, I had this whole long thing wrote up but I've decided to just say that you'll have to trust me when I say I haven't been that harsh on them at all. I'm a very extreme person, so on some things I'm far too strict and others far too lenient. Suffice it to say, I think it all balances out. They've been very spoiled and sheltered overall, often times having to defend myself to others on my choices and decisions regarding them. I don't expect kids to be perfect and have argued with more than one person about judging kids and expecting things of them that shouldn't be at such a young age.

especially the way they're set up on these dryer in a tiny inset inside the machine. I didn't realize they were there until halfway through last semester. I wonder if the load is done now?
hm, I suppose that balances out, but I know a lot of teens would not like that. when you're lenient in one area a lot will want that same freedom everywhere. not that I'm like that. my mom gave me a very long leash because she could and knew I wouldn't do anything stupid/illegal/dangerous.
yeah, I don't think its nice to expect adult things from kids especially since adults mess up all the time. we teens are kinda stuck in the middle. at some times its nice because you can be a kid and immature, but also have responsibility and be logical. but of course its also being trapped in a place between being a dependent of your parents and freely on your own. I'm not ready to be on my own yet though, I'll admit that.
