my roommate is addicted to one tree hill so I know all of the story. its alright sometimes...yeah, its all a dang lot of drama!

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:06 PM

I guess thats just california for you. It's like a whole different country from the rest of the USA. Like, people are so fake and money hungry, at least that's what I get from watching tv. Who knows if its really true. Stuck on their loks and plastic surgury and things like that... barbie-doll wanabe's

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 07:08 PM

yeah....hm, my parents lived in Cali for a while. north I think. we drove to san fransisco once. at some point we drove through the neighborhood they used to live in.

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:09 PM

Did you see anything crazy when you went there??

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 07:12 PM

not really. we weren't there long. it did take a while to drive over there. it was a road trip!!!

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:14 PM

Road trips can be fun. I like to go slow though, or go fast. I hate stopping all the time so people can pee or smoke or get a drink.... that gets really annoying.

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 07:18 PM

I actually was sick on that trip. I got a cold, then going up and down mountains just got to me. but I saw the grand canyon, pikes peak, hoover dam, drove up a volcano, went in at least 3 cave, you know, the usual vacation stuff.

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:21 PM

That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm terrible when I drive long distance and pass something cool. I take pictures while I drive =3

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 07:30 PM

my dad will stop at really random places and my best pictures are of those random stuff. my profile pic on fb was taken at a random creek that ran long the road in canada. my fav random spot though was this random creek in Scotland and then the mountain like hill and the sheep we chased after!! though the piles of sheep dung anyways.

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:49 PM

Scotland! I wanna go somewhere in europe again. I'd really like to go to Ireland and Scortland and rural England. I miss traveling. Maybe I'll move to Australia... for a while. I can get a visa pretty easy... hmmm....

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 07:51 PM

traveling is nice. sometimes its even alright to do it with my family and share a room with my brothers. I think Europe was the best, but I wonder where we will go this summer!! its the laid back vacation year so maybe new mexico again.

Zephi 02-09-2010 07:58 PM

What do you do in new mexico?

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 08:01 PM

well, last time we went, we staying in a cabin in the mountains for a week doing nothing. thats our cheap, off year vacation. we go on a big trip every other year. we've also been through new mexico on the way to california and once on the way to Colorado.

Zephi 02-09-2010 08:03 PM

That sounds like fun. Pretty relaxing ^^

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 08:03 PM

cept I got a really bad stomach bug then. I seem to get sick a lot when I travel. bad luck really.

Zephi 02-09-2010 08:07 PM

Oh yeah. Traveling isn't fun when you're sick. O_O Id rather not do anything but then again fresh air makes me feel a little better

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 08:09 PM

fresh mountain air!! that was the best really after I got better. there were so many humming birds and little animals!! and we went to a lava flow.

Zephi 02-09-2010 08:10 PM

A lava flow!? O_O Wow! That sounds really cool... hot... awesome. O_O I wanna go

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 08:13 PM

it was cool for a while. we had to walk all over it though and I'm just not that big on lots of walking. that's why I hated Arlington Cementary. lots of walking in lots of heat to look at bunches of gravestones.

Zephi 02-09-2010 08:14 PM

But arlington is neat. I have a relative there who got a medal of honor.

Kat Dakuu 02-09-2010 08:17 PM

well, I got bored after a while of walking through the whole thing. I was younger too...well, it was a few years ago, but did I mention that i have ADD and get bored easily? The cementary they have at the beaches of Normandy though were way cool. I was looking at some pictures in a magazine for a class and recognized it just from the pic!

Zephi 02-09-2010 10:51 PM

Oooh, another place I never went to. I met some vets from the 2nd world war that were there. Some of them are still pretty young so you know that they had to be kids over there. Like 17 or just turning 18...

O_O Icecream cake

Aryah_Jade 02-09-2010 11:59 PM

"Let loose the dogs of war!" .... and don't forget the pooper-scooper... :headdesk:

Zephi 02-10-2010 12:05 AM

Haha! Aryah!!! It's been like at least a week since anyone else has posted in this thread!

"We have a rendevous with destiny!!"

ToriKat 02-10-2010 12:10 AM

*pokes Aryah*

@Zephi: Leaving already! D: Goodness, I hope your experience is better than what a lot of the sergeants have been sharing. Nothing but MREs, them having to shoot wild dogs to eat, makeshift fobs...
