@Kat: hehee, I tried that once as a kid!
Hmm... making a book... well, I once made a book cover using cardboard and sewing some fabric onto it..... turned out pretty cool. (the fabric had a design of a whale breaching on one side, and dolphins on the other) @Zephi: Hahaa! You sound like most school kids! *chants* snowdaysnowdaysnowdaysnowdaayyy! hehehee I dont' like umbrellas... too much work for too little reward... I'd rather throw on a hat/cap and a wind breaker/water resistent coat... it accomplishes the same thing, and no matter what you have something wet to deal with once you get inside, anyway. At least with a coat it's easier. You don't have to fight with trying to close an umbrella and a door at the same time! :stare: |
lol! its easy to walk under my brother because he holds it way up!! but no one could share with me because I'm so much shorter!
I'm just using paper and sewing to together, but I'd love to do something cool like that! I'd chant snow day, but I don't think it'd work... |
*squeals since it's event time* xD
Guhh, and I finally have an off day after...ten days straight of WORKING. *despises that clinic* |
:squee: I know! I love events. It's really good to see you back again. Kat and Zephi kept this place rolling along while you were gone, but you were missed.
and now Zephi is gone!!! and today sucks majorly...
Yeah, she's gone. But we're here. Why did your day go so bad?
Here's to hoping Zephi has a safe tour. *hugs to her*
@Kat: Oh no, what happened to you today? |
well, it got better. I lost my studen ID card when I posted earlier and that has my meal plan on it, but I found it in a computer lab so I got to eat. the rest....*prepares a rant* revolves around art.
*pops in* I doubt anyone is here, yet who knows.
Well I'm here. I also am VERY excited to take part in my first event.
hi people! enjoy the event!! *dashes off chasing hearts*
and waa!! its sad to look at this page because I can see Zephi still and I get excited to see her out of habit....then sad. |
Aww, don't feel too sad, Kat. I'll miss her, too. I wonder how long it will be before we can see her again. Did she say?
she'll be gone a year *sniffle* but hopefully I'll hear from her on fb soon! she's supposed to give me her mailing address!
So no internet, at least for Mene, for a year. Wow! She'll be missed. How bout give updates if you hear from her in real life? I was a soldier once, and my family is big military, so I really feel for her and will think of her, as I do YOU, TORI!
if I get updates, I will be sure to pass them along to everyone! *stares at fb* it really bites to not have internet especially if you're the type that's addicted to the computer. *looks around for Tori too* poo...
@Kat: I'm glad you found your card! My card back in college gave me access to food and to my dorms. So losing that would've been a death sentence for me. 8D *loves my food and my safe haven of a room* xD
@Lisa: Aw, I missed you! @danielly: Welcome! I hope you enjoy the event. :D @Kat/Echo: O____O No internet for a year. *would die* I questioned how I would survive in basic and AIT, but I did alright. They made us exhausted all the time. 8D Meh, I'm fine. xD All they do is train us in case the north decides to come after us. Since I'm in the south part of South Korea, we're part of the evacuation group who helps with care and sends out civilians and military family members out back to the states. Not like the very north of South Korea who would be part of the group who defends. |
I'm glad to hear your down south, Tori. You know that guy up there in North Korea is wacko! Yeah, in basic you don't have time to even think about anything but what they give you to do. AIT was hard, but at least we had weekends, and I enjoyed the heck out of them!
I was told by everyone I would enjoy AIT. *didn't* We were under lockdown for the first month of AIT. Treated us like we were in basic...Then once we were in STX before the field...basic mode again. xD Every time we were free on the weekends, I tried to run the library to use the internet. 8D It was nice with everyone else going to the Riverwalk. *only went once to eat dinner at Chili's in celebration of GRADUATING*
I remember us joking that they treated us like dirt in AIT...only to have the rest of the army make it up to us by treating us better when we get to our units. Boy was I wrong about my situation. 8D Working in a clinic...quite different from a line unit from what I'm hearing from everyone else I graduated with...At least things are going to be better at this new clinic. *motivated again* |
Yeah, they had just started that stupid Phase four lockdown crap when I got to AIT and had brought in drill sgt's for it. UGH! It was hard, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time off on the weekends there though! I hung with the guys out in the beer gardens or we went partying. Those were the days! I was SO shocked when I got to my duty station and saw that the real army wasn't that bad! And then when I finally got to my job (I had to wait about five months for my clearance) it was so cushy!
hey guys. hm, I have no idea what you're talking about...
That's okay. Just Army stuff is all. Tori's able to join us tonight so far!
Hello :)
Hello, Rusalka! ~~~drools over your dress~~~ You're wearing one of my dream items!
hey Rusalka! yes, that's one of the really realllly pretty items.
Lol. xD The colors are a bit off and don't match much but I like the 10k dresses.
The only thing I dislike is that it's hard to get colors to flow nicely throughout the avi when you can't add noticeable color to the feet area. |
