Just found my old laser and started playing with the kitties. They REALLY love the laser!

Haha yeah my kitties love the laser pointer as well!! :lol:

Mine makes a "click" when you do it, and one of my kitties knows the sound. He starts looking as soon as he hears it. I haven't had it for quite some time and I found it, put new batteries in, and as soon as I "clicked" it, Max was looking.

Mine has a chain so once my Rei hears the clink he's staring at me expectantly. :lol:

Also he's not allowed in mom's room so when he gets in there we have to use the laser light to get him out. It's gotten to a point that he runs in and stops dead and starts looking for the light.

Ah, see, he's smart. You've basically trained him to go in there-he knows the laser starts when he goes in. Funny how cats get "trained" for the wrong things when we're trying to teach them the exact opposite. Max is tearing up all my blinds trying to look outside, but I wonder if that's what he really wants. He knows I jump him when he does it, so I wonder if he doesn't do it for the attention.

Yeah, glass doors would be bad. Very bad. The light would look like it's OUTSIDE, so they'd keep on running if they didn't pick up on it. Wham!

I'd walk into them for sure. I've seen a girl do it before. it was really funny

I have a veranda and it's glass doors, my cat's know there's glass there and such.. though Rei, he finds a spot on the glass and jumps up at it incessantly over and over again. :lol:

Don't you love it when they find a fly?! They go crazy and will jump about anywhere to catch it.

my cats know the windows are there. the thing is, when you open the window, especially if you stick your hand out, apricot realizes she can go through it and comes inside. um....striper watches this and even if you pull her inside then put her back out, she doesnt know that the window is open

Lol, my cats go crazy like that even when there aren't any flies in the house. :lol:
Though one time we had a fly infestation.. my cats went crazy trying to catch them.. and then when they succeeded.. they would never kill the darn things.. just play with them until they escaped. :lol:


Yeah, I let my kitties out on the balcony (I'm on first floor so it's not far of a drop and they still see ground from window) but when it's closed I guess they manage to tell because they stop and yowl. xD

One of my kitties, Vampy, will come to my window and howl to come in sometimes. All because stupid me opened the screen and let him in a few times that way so I didn't have to go ALL the way around and wait for them to come to the door. My room's on the other side of the house from the door. And I have a built on back area. So they basically have to walk almost three times the distance to get to the door, that's if I can get him to hear me from the carport door, which is the one I go to for most things. I'm going to have to re-screen that one because of the scratching that's been done.

dose any one have a blanket or something it appears i am missing my clothes.

sorry my conversation has been so sparse but my interent is acting up.
so my cat is just dumb for not realizing the difference between an open and closed REally dirty window? and I don't fault you for not wanting to walk to the door to let the cats in

My cat will just stare us down until we open the door

*rolls around* my evil internet!!! :cry: and I miss my cats. spring break is soon though
