I bought some Copics at the University Coop...We got a student discount. Goodness, how I wanted to buy the place out. T^T I treated myself to a few markers when I did a good job on tests. xD

Mmm, yeah, but that's not why my back is currently aching. It's because of work. I had to chuck roughly 120 - 150 tires into a trailer today. Some of those tires can get pretty heavy, especially when you're chucking several of them over and over again... :XP I know that being hunched over would just make my back ache more, so I'm waiting until my back feels a little better before I start working on my art again (which may not be until tomorrow).

D: Ugh! I wouldn't be able to do that. My back just hurts from moving totes around from my old job! Getting old isn't fun either. D:
I wonder if one of those massage mats would do you any good. |
*shrugs* I dunno. Back when I had my '98 GMC Sonoma pickup, whenever my back started hurting, I'd just turn up my stereo (since I had a 350 watt amplifier bridged and pushing 700 watts to a JL Audio 10" subwoofer mounted in a speaker box directly behind the seat. The vibrations from the sub acted as a massage for my back while I enjoyed my music at the same time! :XD )

Yeah, I kinda wish that I still had that pickup. Now I need to upgrade the stereo system in my car and in my current pickup, in addition to other modifications and/or fixes to each vehicle... :sweat:
--EDIT-- Eh, my body is telling me that I need to get some sleep (I'm starting to nod off in my chair... :sweat: ), so I guess I'm going to head off to bed for the night. I have to go to work from 9am - 6pm tomorrow, so I should be online around 6:30pm (unless I have to work late for some reason). So, see you all tomorrow evening. |

I dont' even know why I got back online because I'm so sleepy, but I have to say that the concert charity was really amazing and super touching. all about world peace and zen.

World peace is a nice concept. There are far too many hard-headed individuals in the world though. Tis a shame.

Yeah, I just saw it. Sorry that it took me a while to reply, I was showing some pics to Aryah. :yes: I think the preview looks really good. I can't wait to see the finished piece. And the hairstyle that Aryah has in that reference is perfectly fine. That's one of the few hairstyles on Gaia that I like for the females. :P

Of course. I don't want you over-working yourself or anything like that (like I've apparently been doing to myself :sweat: ). Yeah, days off are too few and seem to go by too quickly, don't they? I have the next two days off from work, and that's only because I requested those days off because Aryah's in town. Which reminds me, I need to take her down to Best Buy to get her laptop looked at sometime over the next couple of days. |

Ooo, that'd be nice. Does that mean that you have to work tonight, though? Meh, I doubt she'll be getting a new one, unless they tell her that there's no way to fix the one she's got. Hopefully, worst-case-scenario, she'll just have to do a wipe & boot. Besides, I'm due for a new comp before she is (unless hers is broken beyond repair). And I don't know. As far as I know, she hasn't even tried looking for the receipt / warranty. |
I'll bet. Ah, the life of a short person. T^T I was at the gym for PT and when I went to lay on the bench to do sit ups, my legs were so short, I was just floating in the air as I did them. Got a good work out, but I got made fun of. *snickers* The others were joking that I'm like...SCREW GRAVITY!
*nods* Yup, gotta go to work. Another session of PT in the afternoon and then sitting around trying to stay awake. xD Hope it's that simple! *crosses fingers* |
