my mom has a new scanner, printer, fax thingie. it doesn't scan so that you can see the image and its all pixely.

Really? I'm actually slightly surprised, considering the fact that "Miki" has absolutely nothing to do with her actual screen name here on Mene. :lol: You know, I really hope she's doing alright. I noticed that she hasn't been online in a little over a month now. She used to get on at least every other day, but usually at least once a day. :yes:

I met her when Tori was around during during the halloween event so I figured out that everyone was calling her miki. I don't think I ever caught her when she was real active.
around that time a lot of my friends starting disappearing from mene.....weird. Bitterblue hasn't been on since thanksgiving and that rp was such fun!!

The odd thing is that Miki really seemed to like it here. I'm not really sure why she hasn't been getting online. The last time I saw her was around Halloween, also. Then I got really busy with work and RL issues and I didn't really get on Mene (or online at all, for that matter) until just a few weeks ago, when things actually started calming down for me again. I hope that Miki starts getting online again, though. I miss her. :(

Well, I remember her saying something about her comp acting kinda flaky and getting really slow at one point. I wonder if her comp died and she just hasn't had a chance to get it fixed yet or get a new one?

oh, that might be it! when your computer dies all the way it really can take you away for a while. I stopped getting on the computer a few years ago when the desktop crashed until I got accustomed to using the other desktop and having to share it with 4-5 people rather than 3.

Wow, I've never had to share a comp with that many people. :sweat: The largest number of people I ever had to share a comp with was just one. The first time I had to share a comp was with my younger brother, the second time was with my wife (back when I was married), and the other times were with Aryah. :yes: But I've never had to share a comp with more than one person at any one time.

Yeah, having a comp die on you is really frustrating and inconvenient. :XP

when our second desktop died, my whole family had to use one computer because my dad was the only one that had a laptop. but now me and my older brother have one too for school. my little brother and my mom just share the desktop.

:cry: my paper isn't going well. I finally finished the 2nd page, but I was looking at the guidelines and I don't think my research is in depth enough and I need a lot more sources than I have. so I think I'm gonna kinda disappear if not totally go. damn thing!!!

and I just came back from the hallway outside my room and hark, what is that smell? why, that would be POT! I wonder who is smoking that in my suitemate's room?? wow. I hope she gets in trouble cause it smells nasty. I actually don't know what pot smells like....but what else could that smell be?!! its different than the hooka she's so fond of.

Meh, I'm hoping to get myself a new laptop here in the next month or two. That should take care of all the errors I've been getting from Firefox. *hopes I can get the new comp really soon* Once I get the new laptop, I'm planning to keep my old one to play my music on and to watch the DLed fansubs that I've got, and use the new one for online and gaming. :yes:

Yeah, I used to have a second comp (a desktop) a little while back. But, the thing pretty much committed hari-kari (the mother board, hard drive, power source, and CPU all seemed to die at the same time... ). It'll be nice to have two comps again. :yes:

Anyway, I think I might head off to bed now. It's about 11:00 here, so I guess I stayed up long enough. Time to let my body crash for the night. :lol:
