why does my internet only die when zephi is around?!!!! :cry:

There is a DFAC. It's called "Dusty Poo" if that clues you into anything. lol. It's small. There's only like 100 people on the FOB though, I think there is less. Like 80 maybe. We have a little gym. One tredmil works, the bikes and one stair master, weights. MWR withe computers and phones, just a little shack with computers in them lol. If you want to see pictures... do you have FB? I'm on there and I've posted some. Afghanistan could be a pretty country, like in the mountains maybe, but it's just a big mud hole for the most part. The weather is nuts. One day it's like 80 degrees, ten minutes later is 40, then it snows that night, and goes back to 80 degrees. Hey.... O_O you... you have access to the BEST beef jerky in the world. O_O Have you seen KC cattle farm beef jerky? I ONLY found it in korea, at the shoppettes and stuff :( Nothing in the US and even in KS where it's made! How crazy is that... I have my own room. All the medics do, everyone else is bunked up though. Medics stay in the back part of the ad station

Hmm, it seems like everything's alright... Doors are locked, windows are intact, no noticeable damage (although it's kinda hard to tell in the dark). I guess it was somebody else's car alarm going off... *shrugs*

@TK: Yeah, you're probably right about it being best not to know. :sweat: I'm sure every restaurant has it's dirty little secrets... :XP Wow, I couldn't imagine staying somewhere that smells like that long enough to eat anything. Or even trying to eat anything with that kind of smell in the air. :gonk:

@Kat: Eh, I heard a car alarm going off that sounded exactly like the car alarm on my GTO. So I had to go outside and check my car out (as best I could) to make sure nobody broke into it and set my mind at ease.

@Kat: Eh, I've already had two vehicles broken into and ransacked (although I didn't have car alarms on either of them), and my younger brother's car got broken into once before, also. So I don't take chances when I hear a car alarm that sounds like mine. I go out and check my car. Heaven help anybody who breaks into my GTO, though. The way I feel about it, my car is worth more than the life of some asshat that feels like he has to go around breaking into people's cars to score a few quick bucks to get some drugs or something of that nature. If I catch somebody breaking into my car... Well, let's just say that they won't be having a good time. :ninja:

wow dimi. you must have bad luck or pretty cars. my brother's friend left the doors wide open for hours and no one took the car. goes to show that the most expensive thing as my brother says is the Cd's in it. lol. if it were actually a really nice car, there'd be a reason to beat up some theif!

ew, that doesn't look like fun. those tents look very unfun and drafty.

wow, that's pretty lame. freezing and burning at the same almost. having to pick between the two!! ick. I'll stay here in my lousy dorm room and eat mac n cheese.

@Kat: Well, the first vehicle of mine that got broken into, I'm pretty positive that it was some adolescent punks, because there was nothing worth anything in it. And the only things taken were a pack of cigarettes and a lighter... But they got in my glovebox and pulled everything out of it and strung it all over the inside of the pickup. :roll: The second vehicle of mine that got broken into had a custom, high-dollar stereo system and a radar detector in it. Those were stolen, the driver's side window was broken, and the dashboard was ripped out (for access to the stereo deck)... :XP My brother's car had an aftermarket stereo in it. Again, the driver's side window was broken out and the dashboard was ripped up, and the stereo was stolen. As for my current car, it's pretty expensive. Not as expensive as a Corvette, but still expensive. Here's some pics of my car:

well, I've never been in a comfy car. and all I see is car. I'm not the most car savoy person.
