Mmm, I don't even remember how much gold I have on my mule (it's been so long since I've last logged onto that account... :sweat: ).

I stayed logged onto my mule in IE and have my main open in firefox. I've been buying all the st. patty's items with my mule so he's overly poor.

*lol* I don't even remember the last time I was logged into my mule account. Normally, I don't get on that account unless it's a holiday event going on. And the last time I was on my main and my mule at the same time, I had two running comps. :P

lol, I find it pretty easy to just open Ie and firefox. I actually play games on my mule so I can have it as a little window while I'm chatting.

Mmm, maybe. IF I still had IE on my comp, that is. I found IE to be more hassle than it's worth (considering most sites don't even support IE anymore in favor of supporting browsers such as Firefox. If IE happens to work on those sites, it's typically just a fluke,), so I completely removed it from my system altogether. :P

wow, I haven't had firefox that long and sure Ie isn't that great, but since firefox messes up on my comp so much, I just end up switching over to IE a lot.

Yeah, firefox has been messing up a lot on my system recently, too. I'm not sure if it's simply because I have a problem with my system, or if it's because most people are running either Vista or Win7 now and Firefox updated their browser to work better with those OS's and basically cast the older OS's aside (I'm still running XP Pro :sweat: )... I suppose it could be either of those reasons, or even a combination of the two. :XP

yeah, it might be a combination of that. I think half my problem is that I tend to have something like 12 tabs open at a time and I only keep school related stuff open on IE (3 tabs). and my internet connection is bad. I do use windows 7 though.

I've heard that Win7 is supposed to be really good. I wouldn't mind updating my OS to Win7. But, if I'm going to be getting a new laptop, I might as well wait until I actually get said laptop, which should already have Win7 on it to begin with. :yes:

Wow, that's a lot of tabs. What kind of CPU do you have? If it's not at least a dual core processor, you might be overloading it, and that might be why you're having problems. :sweat:

that's true. if you get a new laptop then there's no reason to update now. it took some getting used to it (mostly because I'm an idiot when it comes to computers) but its nice

@Kat: Actually, I was talking about the processor (CPU = Central Processing Unit). ;) There are a few choices on processors (if you're using a laptop, there should be a sticker near the lower, left-hand corner of the keyboard. It'd say something like "intel Centrino Duo" or "AMD Athalon 64x2" or something similar to that). There are single core processors, dual core processors, even quad core processors. The higher number of cores a processor has, the more tasks it can handle at one time.
