@Kat: Does it say "Duo" underneath "Centrino"? If not, then you probably have a single core processor. If you regularly have 12 tabs open, you're probably overloading the processor and bogging it down. Try keeping less taps open (maybe around 8 or less) and see if Firefox stabilizes for you.

@Kat: You might also consider only running one browser at a time. I'm honestly not sure how well a single core processor can handle running two different browsers at once. ;) But, see how cutting down the number of tabs you have open at once works out first. If it helps and you don't have any more problems while still running both browsers, then there shouldn't be any reason to worry about running both at the same time.

@Kat: Yeah, with as much as you multitask, you should really have a dual core processor. Maybe even a quad core. But systems with a quad core are usually custom order and can get really expensive. :XP

@Kat: Well, as long as it was a good price, I wouldn't say it was a really bad pick. Sure, there are certain things that people want in a comp, but it usually boils down to what kind of a price you can get on a comp. :yes:

Well, that's good. :lol: I know that this one that I'm using now cost about $1200.00, but it's a little over 4 years old now. And I was never really satisfied with the video card that's in it. It's been a good comp, though. I just think that it's reached about the end of it's useful life span. Well, other than for listening to music or watching my DLed fansubs, that is.

Hmm, normally, there's you, me, TK, Love, and Kai. Sometimes zephi and Rusa. Miki doesn't come here anywhere near as often as she used to, but she's been busy with IRL stuffs, so that's understandable.

Since nobody else is here yet tonight, I hope that doesn't mean that you and I simply don't have lives or something like that... :sweat:
