Yes, Tori, without being told! He was getting the back area cleaned up so he can use it for his "area". He moved back in, and I won't let him have his old room back(several reasons, not being mean). The back area is really big, it was an addition to the house and is about as big as half the house itself, or maybe a little smaller. It would be about like a studio apartment, minus it's own kitchen and bath. I kept telling him to make it like his own "apartment". Anyway, from there he cleaned the pool room and living room from all the little guy's messes! Yes, Kat, PIZZA! I still have leftovers-which reminds me to go stick some in the microwave. ~~~slides a plate with some pizza to Kat~~~ It's just extra cheese though! |

Oh, it's a rare thing indeed. My daughter would do it about once a month, just starting cleaning. When the older son got about seventeen, he would every so often clean. The youngest has yet to clean anything without being threatened with fire and brimstone :lol:! But then, he's still young, considering the ages at which the other two began to spontaneously come around to reality every so often.

pshaw. I'm almost 19 and the only space I spontaneously clean is my desk and bed areas so I can use them. sometimes I get REALLY weird and clean something else.

I was an odd teen. When I lived with my dad, my room was the cleanest in the house, and often times I would clean the rest of the house except for he and my step-mom's room and my step-sister's room. I just couldn't stand the mess-my step-mom was a total pig when it came to house keeping. I came home many a night (usually around eleven or later) and cleaned kitchen because she wouldn't feel like doing it that night, and I knew I couldn't stand the thought of seeing a dirty kitchen in the morning.

Yeah, I was weird like that. I was a clean freak for many years. But I'm so much more lax now. The kids wore me down. My house is not dirty, but half the time "cluttered" with messes my son makes. And after returning from Saudi many years ago, I stopped caring about dusting very much. For some reason ~~~looks up as I think of having dirt for floors~~~dust didn't bother me much anymore :)!

I'm sure my house will end up being a disarray, but mostly clean, just messy. lol!!! after seeing my room after coming back for a holiday I notice that my furniture is fuzzy! I don't mind dust.

Dust isn't so bad. I can deal with "messy" or "cluttered", just not dirty.

Hmmm....hard to explain what I think is dirty. Easier to explain what I think is just clutter or mess. Things like books or magazines laying around, toys that haven't been put away, things that belong in other places laying around, shoes not put away-things like that.
Erm, I SAW you hide those wrappers! Now THAT'S dirty. But I'm almost positive that it comes no where NEAR what I call the "Black Hole" which is my son's room. "I" don't even walk in there anymore, not even to wake him up on school mornings, for fear of never being able to get back out or being found. And we won't discuss the thing that he goes into that has a toilet, tub, and sink. I think it used to be a bathroom. However, I wouldn't know, as I also don't go in there. I have a bathroom for myself. Edit: I'm off to bed for now. Hope to get back in here tomorrow! |
then I live in clutter central. I also happen to leave soda bottles around for a day or two before the trash gets taken out so I can throw them away. all those food wrappers and such....they exist. OOH, you should see my brothers' rooms! sometimes cleaning out the coke cans takes 7 trips. I think matt had 20 in there at once. and he keeps stealing the cheese its!!! :gonk:

Yeah, they're good. Dip them in some cream cheese and they get better :). Great that you get to have some down time! You can have more fun on here. I starting doing my eggs last night. I've gotten all but one clue and the new one that came out. Got to keep working on the challenge clue. I've tried more than a few times where I feel it must be, but it's not showing.

I don't think I've ever dipped them! :O I haven't actually been on that much today. I'm doodling stuff for an art project. just crayons though. the challenge clue was tough because I had no idea where the option was!!!

Honestly, I'm not sure which clue is the newest. There are two clues that I'm currently having problems with at the moment, so I can only hope that one of them is the newest clue. :sweat:
