I had fun watching the fireworks from the park. they didn't do them for long though which is surprising. normally they do it till 2am and I stopped hearing fireworks around midnight. must have been the man-eating mosquitoes.

I haven't seen fireworks in a really long time. I know Honolulu does really amazing ones during the Lunar New Year.

my parents were in the virgin islands on the 3rd and the celebrate that too because it was when the slaves were freed but my dad wasn't happy because the rum factory was closed! :lol:

Man...yesterday I surprised my coworkers. It's a holiday weekend, so we operate on weekend hours. So I was in the waiting area playing Dante's Inferno on my coworker's Playstation 3. I remember reading the poem in high school. From 10am till 7pm, I finished half the game. xD They didn't think I could play games or would play a game like that....

I didn't think it was. I haven't played games in a long, long time. The last one I tried was Alan Wake on a Xbox 360, and I was a train wreck on it. I just couldn't get used to having to look up and side to side. >_>;; So that medic made fun of me and said I sucked the entire time I was playing.

There are puzzles, not just fighting monsters. There were a couple that stumped me. I was wondering why the boss wouldn't die. xD

From what I read on it, they compared the game to God of War.

hm, sounds interesting. I like games with puzzles. my favorite is golden sun. I love playing that game!

I played them when I was a kid. xD They were on the PC. I highly recommend the Monkey Island games...I'm so thrilled they remade them. <3 *thinks* Ah, and Simon the Sorcerer. That series is still having games made. I need to finish the second one sometime. ^^;

They want us to be well rounded soldiers...but you never see mechanics coming into the clinic to learn basic life support...
