Kale: *pulls you back!* Nu more doll forums!

Kat D: Illinois is pretty flat too, we're only bumpy in the outer edges near other states.

west texas is not flat at all but the rest of it is. I think next year we're going to go to Denver for our mission trip but I don't know if I want to go.

Ha ha ha! Texas is bigger in Texas? Don't think I've quite heard it phrased that way before.

Sorry I poofed. These posts lately are taking me a while to word properly.

If you ladies want to see bumpy, you should try driving through some of the mountain passes I've driven through. Trust me, not everything is bigger in Texas.

@Miki: Posted back. Looks like Max has other plans for Liz, even if he doesn't know what she knows. :ninja:

I've not driven through mountains, but my dad has on our family vacations. its a long trip from here to san francisco. I LOVE mountains to death, but not when I'm in a car. makes me sick.

Oh, you don't know the true feeling of "sick" until after the first time you've driven a tractor-trailer weighing 80,000 pounds through the mountains...in the winter...at night...during a snow storm. :XP

Dimi: Liz isn't happy but she's being mopey and helpful. XD Post!

Kat D: I've driven through mountains once or twice, not a fan of the winding roads right next to steep cliffs.

I'm not a fan of driving anyways.

I think I'd have a heart attack trying to drive through mountains come to think of it...

I do if I have to drive through a mountain. I like my road to have two sides to it, thank you!

 I'm way to paranoid about driving off the road and my mom would be screaming because she thinks I'm close enough to running off the road when its nice and flat!!

@Miki: Posted back. Liz probably had a shock and started calling Max every name in the book when she got in the Camaro.

@Kat: Driving through the mountains the first few times is enough to freak almost anybody out. But, the more you do it, the more it's like "*yawn* More mountains, huh? This is getting boring..." :P

O.O *spaz* its now officially friday the 13th!!!!

how can mountains be boring!!? when they're not scary, they're pretty! I want to go mountain climbing one day. it'd also be nice to have wings and fly down from the top of one at break neck speed.... >.>
any long drive is boring though.

I drove off the road once. A stupid spider scared the crap out of me as it came out of nowhere, crawling up over my head on the ceiling, and suddenly dropping down onto my face. Luckily I was on a side road and just drove into the grass. There wasn't even a curb. ^_^;;;

:? That's strange... Seems like my post got eaten somehow... Let's try this again.

When you're a trucker, driving through mountains is almost as commonplace as driving along any other stretch of road. Not to mention that, when driving an 80,000 pound truck, you're going to end up moving at a snail's pace going up the mountain. And, in order to maintain full control of the truck, you're not going to be able to drive much faster coming down the other side.

I discovered a bumblebee sitting on the knob of my stick-shifter in one of the pickups I had in the past while driving down a back road. I didn't even notice it right away. The bee was all happy and content sitting on that knob... Until I went to shift gears. ...that was when I finally noticed the bee sitting there.

ouch! did the bee sting you?
I can deal with almost any bug calmly, most particularly bees (so long as they don't sting) but if its a roach, I'm going to die.

Nope. Luckily, I had both of the pickup's windows rolled completely down, which created a strong cross-breeze inside the truck. When the bee tried to fly, it got sucked right out the passenger-side window (thankfully).
