I always loved baking cookies and muffins. x3 Then once I got back from college, I wanted to start cooking whole meals... Then I started watching cooking competition shows like Hell's Kitchen and all of a sudden I crave cooking.
Usually I just want to eat. 8D
I thought it was funny we were in a training session when the speaker mentioned that some people eat to live and others live to eat. Another guy and me got called out as being the latter. ;D

Mm, chicken porridge...There's a Vietnamese styled chicken noodle soup my mom made for me whenever I was sick. When I caught a cold, that was all I could think about. Such a simple dish but I didn't have the ingredients or capabilities to make it. *sniffs*
Mucinex killed that cold though. xD

Chicken porridge? That sounds... Interesting o.o;
Aw, when I'm sick my Mum makes spaghetti and heats up garlic bread, the garlic supposedly helps with colds :rofl:
I do love my Mum's chicken soup though :heart:
I've never heard of Mucinex o.o

xD Yeah, I used to have to eat juk when I was sick. Oh yeah...I used to have to eat a lot of garlic when I got sick. One time I had one so bad my mom mixed honey with mashed garlic. I hated that. Dx
Mucinex: Mucinex® – Mucinex In. Mucus Out.™ I really hate taking medicine, but I was desperate to be well again. @ [email protected]

Juk looks interesting o.o'
Aw, ew! xD My Mum's never made me eat whole garlic or anything like that, I just have vitamin C and rest lots. I'm actually getting sick now D: Today I got a book a friend had borrowed back... It's bent and kind of dirty, he says 'that's what happens when you read books' but when I'd finished it it was in almost pristine condition, I felt like crying when I saw it, I love books ; -; </3
Ahkay, cool o3o

T___T Oh my goodness, I'm the same way with books! I always have to have mine look like they were just published! When I go shopping in used book stores like Half Priced Books, it drives everyone crazy how I'll flip through books and even sniff them. xD I did the same thing when I was buying textbooks for college...All of them are still in amazing condition. *very protective of ALL my books* <3

Yay! Another book lover! :heart:
I can understand a page you spilled water on, or a tiny splotch of food. Those are regrettable yet understandable, the cover of this book however, is fraying at the edges and the actually sides of the book, the sides with pages, are covered in dirt and what appears to be blood or food... ; ~;
/is exaggerating a little

I'm so obsessive about the condition and quality of my books that I get heartbroken over even a bent page. xD I spilled a glass full of water on one of my biology textbooks once and flipped out, but not too long; I did grab a towel to soak up the water.
I know some say they like books that are a little worn, because it shows the owner really enjoyed it...but I can't destroy mine. xD

Aw, I think I may have soaked a couple of pages once xD
Recently my books have all been pretty good :heart: you should have seen the Twilight book my friend lent out last year though, everyone wanted to read it and didn't have copies of their own so borrowed hers, it came back completely bent and dirty o.o
I think I only lent my copies out once...
Nor can I, if I bend a book, dirty it or whatever, I at least know it's my fault. But when they get borrowed and returned in a bad condition a little part of me dies </3

Sometimes I'm frightened by what that mystery stain could be in library books or textbooks. xD
I'm terrible...I rarely let anyone borrow my things. If I trust that they understand how picky I am, then I will. *hides*

I only lent out this book because I'd feel bad otherwise :cry: it's also one of my favourite books...

I read Battle Royale after a friend in college lent it to me. ^^; She REALLY wanted me to read it...and I was really surprised by how hooked I was. After reading it, I read the manga. I haven't seen the movies yet, because...I'm not big on gore. ^^; Surprised I even got through all of the manga.
Battle Royale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm really surprised I hadn't heard of this book series sooner. ^^ Growing up, I remember seeing Animorphs, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, and several other series LONG before they became a sensation. I guess it's because I've been away for so long and the libraries aren't stocked very well. xD

Oh yeah, it definitely described how each student kills the other. @ [email protected] I have a huge imagination, so I definitely pictured all of it. D: Now, I'm better able to handle gory things thanks to EMT training. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to giving The Hunger Games a try after I finish The Boleyn Inheritance.
