Zea has written her fail response to the RP... >_>; |
cars have brains and codes?
:yes: I'll keep that in mind, dimi. sorry, I had to go feed my cats. |
Zea has to go shower, fare well~ >_> |
cya zea!
|
@Zea: Welcome back. :yes:
@Kat: Yeah, pretty much every vehicle built after 1984 has some sort of ECM in it. Most car manufacturers have been toying with them since long before that, though. --EDIT-- @Zea: Ok, enjoy your shower |
:roll: why do I even answer the phone?
yep, cars are confusing. I'd ride a bike everywhere if I could. I'm afraid to ride a bike though since I don't think I can do it anymore. |
Because you'd have to sit and listen to it ring if you didn't answer it?
Meh, nobody ever completely forgets how to ride a bike. It's been a good 20 years since I've ridden a bike, but I'll bet I could get on one and ride it just fine. :yes: |
Cica has also replied to the RP. Finally. Also, hi!
|
....you have a point there....
that's what I thought but it had been 10 years since I'd ridden and when I tried, I crashed. hey cica! |
Hi there Cica! :D
@Kat: Guh, that's why I don't have a phone...I can't stand phones ringing. xD @Ultima: Since 1984? Whoa...thought it'd be something a little more recent than that! |
Heya, Cica. How's it going?
@Kat: I almost always have a point. It might not always be a good point, but it's a point nonetheless. ;) Really? Now I've got to wonder if I could actually ride a bike without making a fool out of myself in the process... :sweat: --EDIT-- @TK: Actually, all fuel injected vehicles require a computer of some sort for fuel management. The earliest vehicle I can think of off the top of my head that came with a factory option for a fuel injected motor was the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. So they've been toying with computers in cars for a lot longer than most people realize. :ninja: |
xD How can you make a fool of yourself? *thinks riding bikes has simple motions* 8D
|
Hi, TK! :)
So, bike riding. I didn't think you could forget how do to that. oO Interesting. Might be fairly easy to relearn, though, if you do forget. It's been a few years since I've ridden, actually, but I do remember how it feels, more or less. And it's certainly less scary than driving. :gonk: Dimi: Oh, and... it's a very hot Friday night and mentally I am probably not entirely here. How're you? |
wow dimi, I think I've said that exact thing about having a point!
I want to watch you make a fool of yourself!! :D I guess I never rode a bike for long. I roller skated instead. |
@TK: *pokes and points to the edit in my previous post in case you missed it* ;)
@Cica: It's pretty hot here, too. But, we have a storm rolling through right now. Maybe that'll help relieve some of the humidity around here for a little while. *hopes* @Kat: Why would you want to watch me make a fool out of myself? :gonk: |
@Ultima: I definitely had no idea...O_O
@Kat: Now rollerskating...that's something I'll make a fool out of myself doing. xD I'm terrible at it! |
Nomnomnom -chews on Cica's wings-, I'm back from my shower! 8D |
Oh, Kat, I never went rollerskating outside. Just in a roller rink. I miss that rink. So cheesy retro, yet fun! Biking was the principal mode of transportation for a lot of the kids in my neighborhood, when I was young. Bikes do better on dirt roads than skates!
I hope so for your sake, Dimi. :gonk: It's hot everywhere! Ow, Zea! XD How are you? |
[Cica] I'm amazingly fantastic! What about you~? 8D |
@TK: Not many people do. ;) It takes a real gearhead to know something like that. Or at least somebody really interested in random facts that have basically no purpose. :lol:
@Zea: Welcome back again. :P Did you enjoy your shower? @Cica: Yeah, and it doesn't make my job any easier, either. :sweat: |
Zea: Wishing I was in Alaska, like I do every summer when it's this hot. :)
Dimi: Ouch. I bet not. |
how can a storm make it less humid, dimi?
who wouldn't want something to laugh at. fools are funny!!! XD (I'm evil aren't I?) I was pretty good at roller skating! Its easy to me. welcome back zea! ooh, alaska! |
@Kat: Honestly, I don't really understand how it works myself. All I know is that the heat doesn't feel as bad right after a good storm.
|
Sorry, I was making porridge :sweat: Alaska, sounds cool :drool: |
well, storms nearly make it cooler, but usually they make it more humid....
