Kids seem like they'd be too much of a bother for me, and I'm not really a kid friendly person.

I don't have time for many RP's lately. xD With school and all that.

And they're not for everyone. I've always loved kids. Seems to be in my genetics or something? I was a nanny this summer and it was a ton of fun, but so much work at the same time but I do miss them now that I'm back at school and they're back at school.

Some people are just meant to have and/or raise children. My mother did home daycare for ten years, and she now works at a preschool. She adores children. I, on the other hand, prefer not to deal with them at all. I used to teach self defense to children, but I was so strict and kept the class very disciplined. O n O

I do believe in adoption 100%, though. So, if I ever change my mind I have already decided I will adopt. Most likely I'll adopt an older kid. D: They're less likely to be adopted, and I think they deserve to experience a loving family before their childhood is over.

I have a feeling that my love and I will adopt as well, but I do know that I want at least one or two biological kids. My fiance is a foster child, was for years, and we've done a lot of talking and we know that we either want to adopt or foster. But we're not sure yet, we'll get there when we get there.

My mother and husband were both adopted. o: I've also had a few friends who were adopted.

XD It just seems like a great thing to me. Give a kid a loving family and teach them to love others. Help them so they can help themselves. I know the system is craptastic, so I'd really like to help at least one kid experience life in a better, brighter light.

That's totally understandable. I can't say I understand it totally, but I get why, and I agree with you there. <3

I just want to help people - foster kids, cancer victims and homeless veterans specifically. Doing everything that I can to help anyone is what makes my life worth living; it's what keeps me going. <3 That's what makes me smile~

Awe, that's great! I'm going to school to become an ASL Sign Interpreter/Translator. <3 I want to work with hearing impaired kids either at an Equine Therapy Center, or in a classroom setting.

What made you want to do this?

Well, for as long as I can remember, I hate being in crowded noisy places (no one believed me - my own mum only finally realized that I wasn't making things up last semester :sweat: It's like Auditory Sensory Overload. xD), and so I've always been drawn to signing, as it's so quiet. Oh, I love it. I also want to help people, and so I decided to combine the two.

Oh, for me, I get really uptight, and upset. For some reason, my brain tries to pick up on all conversations all at once, and it drives me insane. xD Sign is just as hard for me but the quiet makes it a lot easier on me and stops me from stressing out as much.

Hmmm, stress can do terrible things to the body.

Yeah, I've learned to deal with noise, but not in large quantities anymore. I do what I can to avoid stress as much as possible.

That's a good idea. XD I'm constantly putting myself in a position where I'll be completely stressed out by the end of the day, and it makes me so ill after awhile. o n o I gotta learn to manage stress.

Yeah, I get the same way. I'll be stressed out and cry myself to sleep. It's not good at all. I need to get myself back into horseback ridding, that actually helps me manage stress better.
